yes turkey has a large military, but most of their soldiers are poorly equipped and poorly trained conscripts. also their military hardware is mostly from old outdated nato stocks.

Turkey is having a strong Airforce and its even its Navy can do enough in Black sea and Mediterranean Sea.

In case of full scale war. Turkey military can check Armenian forces and Syria. Georgia has already close to join NATO alliance.
