idrw doesnot allow copy pasting.o_O.
So for members like us, it means little extra data use (& cost) reading from the page that is hyper linked.

Yes you can Sir...Save page as "text" only instead of html or complete webpage. Then open it and find the article heading and below it there will be the whole paragraph.......just copy and paste it here....:-)......

ON TOPIC... i think they are not offering EJ200 but EJ2X0 with thrust vectoring and increased thrust....:undecided:

As far as I remember kaveri is stuck with under powered turbo fan . The Russians french dumped us . That too french took us for a ride . Anyway now with our great leader at the centre am so confident that we will touch the skies with glory lots of great news now and then .

Good you know. I have said it several times on here. No country will ever transfer you their engine tech NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU PAY FOR IT. The stakes are simply too high. Do won't ever happen. India better invest more into its kaveri to make it better/reliable, else you will waiting for a longggg time for western/Russian 'engine tech transfer' which will never happen of course.

GE also offered an upgraded F414.For the sake of commonality and prevention of future maintenance nightmare,it is logical that we go for GE engine.

.
Specification is available online. GE-414 Indian version is supposed to have a little more thrust.
The decision on going by GE was purely based on cost, not performance.

@sancho can give details on the latter part.

For LCA it should be basically the 414G engine that the Gripen NG uses, with reportedly 64 kN dry and 98kN wet trust and more than costs, the deciding factor should had been that the GE engine was already navalised for the use on N-LCA.
The offer of the EJ engine for AMCA is nothing special btw, it was offered for LCA MK2, Gripen NG, is on offer for S. Korea's KFX as well as for Turkey's TFX fighters.

Tejas MK1 MK2 , AMCA with PakFA ... future is very good really good .

On topic : What will the thrust for F22 raptor vs EF vs su35 vs Park Fa ? Can anyone specify it . And what was the IAF requirements for over all engine capacity ?

f-22=2*156
f-35=1*180-200
su-35=2*142
pakfa(now)=2*147
pakfa (after 2020)=2*176
mk1=1*85

Use YesScript addon for firefox and add the url of the site ........ it will block the scripts for the site .

Then you can copy paste from idrw ........ I have tried it and works like a charm .
