the winning party's manifesto includes abandoning of close military ties with usa in which abandoning of refueling of us naval vessels and decrease in us force presence near japan.
This will lead to usa to search for a new friend in asia which would more likely be india so it would have serious implications on pakistan.

Without US-Japan alliance, US-India relationship is worthless to Americans.

. .
kindly explain how?

What do you mean how? There is only why. US-Japan alliance is vital for Americans against Chinese. Without Japan, the American west pacific strategic interest is gone. China can no longer be even conceptually `contained'. If Japan is gone, SKorea is gone too. US will just move their nukes from Japan to India? You got to be kidding. Yes, they will continue to let you teach their kid how to do math.

hold on man. Japan is not completely abandoning its cooperational ties with united states of america. It is just renegotiating. So chinese must not be releieved usa will not leave them so easily.
And also japan has signed contract with indian navy for pacific ocean patrolling. So india is maintaining multi polar ties not playing a single player game.

China does not give a damn about which side Japan like to sit. If they think they are white, find with us. Actually nothing major is going to change. Japan has no choice with regard to who will back her up. Russians got 4 northern islands of Japan. Russia is not an option. Japan is wary of Chinese retaliation of what they did to Chinese in WWII. China is not option. They have no choice but have to love those who drop two nukes on them.

After all, it's the US who is really nervous. BAU for Chinese. No big deal.

Very well put, "it's the US who is really nervous." I also don't think much will change with Japan, as their political structure is very hampered by the 'Old Guard'. But here they are at a cross point - at least they are realizing they need to improve relations with rest of Asia and the international community (not just G8 brats). :azn:

ya no big deal. Thats why chinese always busy in making plans to overcome us pressure in pacific.

Actually the Japanese have their pride hurt. US killed and fire bombed millions of Japanese, and raped and humiliated them for decades thereafter.

We Asians have our pride and dignity, and the past Nippon Government has sold their people to the very same P-I-M-P-S. Japanese hate (some do) US more than anyone else. Lucky for Whites the Japanese media has turned a blind eye to their atrocities.

But once they wake up to reality, it's gonna be fun! I look forward when all of us Asian brothers and sisters join together in harmony and work for a common good. :)

Problems, or issues. Not pressure. US is never a direct target. However, China will not sit there to allow *any* unfriendly country to have a military edge against her. Chinese will continue upgrade its military, US will continue try to derail it. And the beat goes on.
