This is true but it's quite risky for Turkey to assist GNA in advance towards the east of Libya. Turkey is not necessarily seeking to restore control of whole country. It wanted to help GNA secure a capital in Tripoli and push back LNA forces which it has done so far.

An excuse not to engage in a conflict. It is in your sight the choose which one is right and which one you believe is wrong. Of course, you should not involve in every conflict, but if you think there is something wrong, and your so called ally or friend are fighting on the right side, but on its own, you should engage in that conflict. Thats what I like from the USA. Their engagement for the “good side”.

And then there's the UN-backed GNA which expired when, over a year ago? Yet they claim they're still legitimate? Well the Benghazi people elected the Benghazi parliament which appointed the LNA to be it's military under Haftar. Of course Egypt is going to support the one side that will protect the border.

Libya is a core of Egyptian national security .... specially Eastern Libya ..... if read about the Libyan resistance against Italian occupation ... you will know that the support and logistics came mainly from Egypt ....

so , the Red Line is real be it the Algerian of Tripoli and the Egyptian Sirte/Aljufra line ..... for me seeing Algerian troops in western Libya Is a good thing ... I don’t trust Algerian politicians .... but I can trust the Algerian Army for it’s discipline and traditions ..... Algerian Army will not accept Turkish/ NATO permanent Military base near its boarders.
