Egyptian sectarian strife kills 13

The Egyptian miliary government urged unity and warned of anarchy in response to the worst sectarian violence since the fall of Hosni Mubarak. Following the arson of a Christian Coptic Church in southern Egypt, thousands of Christians protested and were attacked by a Muslim mob. Thirteen people are known dead, 6 Muslims and 7 Christians, and over one hundred casualties.

After Muslims and Christians came together to force Mubarak from power, a return to anti-Christian violence in Egypt is troubling.
