Egypt don't have a real enemy to face, but terror within it should eliminate.
As for Israel, it signed up for 50 F-35A-I (2 already arrived) and more 25 F-35B-I/F-15SE-I in the near future

Egypt can use them to replace their F-7's, but if they want anything more then I suggest they wait for block 3. Israel is getting F-35's for goodness sake, they should be pursuing 5th gen fighters too or at least buy more Rafales.

I think Egyptian know what they want and paf/pac/catac know what can be offer they will deal with it no need to speculate and waste time

It took decade plus for k8 to become market success as the need from China Egypt and other developed same thing for pac mushaq and same will happen for jf as older f7s and Migs- etc and other a/c need replacement
