This is time to post another JF-17 thunder.
The Minister for Defence Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain, who is on an official visit to Egypt, was received by President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, at Ittihadiya Palace, Cairo. President El-Sisi underlined the need to further expand and strengthen bilateral co-operation between the two brotherly countries in all domains, especially in defence production where the two countries could greatly benefit from each other’s expertise.
President El-Sisi also called for greater co-operation among brotherly countries to face contemporary challenges besetting the Islamic Ummah. The Egyptian side evinced keen interest in acquiring JF-17 Thunder aircraft and other military equipment from Pakistan.
They also expressed desire for collaboration in joint production of certain defence equipment. The two sides agreed to exchange expert level delegations to work out modalities for further co-operation. Ambassador of Pakistan, Mushtaq Ali Shah, hosted a dinner in honour of the Minister, at the Pakistan House, Cairo, which was attended by the Egyptian Minister for Military Production and senior officials from the Ministries of Defence, Military Production and Foreign Affairs.
