Eating habits during Ramadan?

So what do you all eat at Sehr and Iftar and in between?

My routine is relatively unchanged ... shifted breakfast to Sehri and the one main meal of the day to Iftar. Timings in UK are such that we get about 5+ hrs between Iftar and Sehr.

Fried food is a no no ... parathas etc are a no no as well ..

Sehr:
Corn flakes + milk to start with 2-3 dates,
10 minutes later: 3 boiled eggs, 3 toast (1 day off, 1 day on), black coffee, & then water to last minute

Iftar:
Dates, water, then black coffee ...
20 or so minutes later: normal meal that is usually 50:50 protein:carbs + yogurt + salad, followed by black coffee 10 or so mins later

This doesn't breach my 14-16hrs daily fasting rule anyways (to give the stomach a daily break from food), just adds 2 hours to it and without water/coffee. Worked out quite well actually so far but may flip the meals around if energy levels go down over time.

Hooked to black coffee ... tea is problematic for me.

And I do get a little cranky after about 12hrs (Mrs complaining!) ... primarily due to lack of caffeine & nicotine (vaping) ... it will get better over next few days Inshallah.

Sehri: either One chapati with omelette or daal or sabzi or meat/chicken and if there is no mood of chapatti then light oats +tea and onken natural youghurt and plenty of water just before the start of fasting

Aftari: Again one chapatti with either meat or veg dishes or biryani rice + fruit chaat/salad + few pakora or dehe balle + tea

Well I am eating Sandwitvh in Sehrhi along with fruit chart and at Aftari I am eating Roti and Salan after opening roza with Date and and water

Sehri:
1.5 roti/pratha + Curry/Eggs + Mango Shake/Lassi + Chai + Bit of Fruit Chat

Aftari:
Lots of Water + Tang/Faalsa Sharbat/Lime Juice + Fruit Chaat + Pakoray/Samosay/Roll

Before Isha:
Little bit Rice + Chai

Roti with saalan, suwaiyaan, chai, fruits , dates, water .

Aftaar :
Dates water , samosas, fruits... then after an hour . 2 cup chai , then after an hour .. roti with saalan and rice .

You are supposed to give up nasha during Ramzan.:disagree:

We Turks eat to much of all at Iftar,at Sehir not so much but you hardly will find a Turk who cares about diets,as long as it is tasty.

I am 62kg anyway so i eat a lot and dong give a damn :D

yes I had some Turkish sweets 2 days ago at iftar in my local mosque, it was incredibly sweet. Gave me a sugar rush.
