It is said that when Lord Rama appeared, according to our calendar, was a million or so years ago (Approx. But in any case it is oldest) And Krishna, God himself according to the Vedic scriptures, appeared here 5,000 years ago ( till 5,000 evidence is available). Siddhartha, about 500 B.C.

Dvaraka's sinking into the ocean is found in book 16 of the Mahabharata which was written around 2,500-5,000 years back.

What was once thought of as mythology, as the discovery of an ancient city sunken off of India, that could be Dwarka, all of that has changed. People are beginning to look at ancient sanskrit texts in new light as perhaps actual historical records.

To be honest i am a bit fed up with this notion that the IVC was a "Pakistani" civilization.I find such a theory only in this forum and no where else.I also understand that there is no point arguing with people who are the proponents of this notion.But guess what , the IVC is considered to be and Indian civilization in world circles and by "Indian" i mean the whole region including Pakistan.

South Asia is just a region, Iranian civilization belongs to Iran and Pakistani civilization belongs to Pakistan.
