Dubai police chief compares 'disciplined Indians' to Pakistanis

.
Now you're talking sense. So you my suggestion helped you :p:

Well Asian parents especially Pakistanis are criticised for being strict on their children but that strictness keeps them checked and protects them from turning into scumbags. I remember how strict my parents even when I was in undergrad at Embry....no girls were allowed after 10pm even for home assignments and projects and will be monitored as we had to sit in a drawing room or dining room from where my uncle or other family members could see us.

In 2002, 5,502 prisoners in England and Wales said they were Muslim.

Three years later, the number had risen to 7,246 and almost a decade on, by December 2014, it had reached 12,225.

OK, I hear you say, the overall prison population has also increased, so what's the big deal?

Indeed, prisoner numbers have risen from an average of 70,778 in 2002 to 84,691 last December.

But that 20% increase in the jail population has been outstripped by the rise in Muslim inmates - up 122%.

One possible explanation for the rise is that there are now more Muslims in the general population.

In the 2001 census, 3% of people in England and Wales said they were Muslim - 1.55 million.

By 2011, that had gone up to 4.8 % - 2.7 million people - so you'd expect the numbers in prison to go up too.

Not terrorists
The media focus on terrorism might lead some to think that the Muslim prisoner population increase is linked to convictions of Islamist extremists.

But the figures don't bear that out either.

Ministry of Justice data shows that between October 2012 and January 2015, there were 104 Muslims out of 178 prisoners who'd been jailed for "terrorism-related offences where the motivation stemmed from extreme ideology" - less than 1% of the total Muslim prisoner population

Muslim inmates now account for 14.4% of those behind bars, compared with 7.7 % in 2002.

Ministry of Justice analysis in 2013 suggested that a significant minority, 30%, of Muslim prisoners weren't British - last year the top 10 overseas nationalities included inmates from two predominantly Muslim countries: 522 from Pakistan, 417 from Somalia

When WE do not respect PAKISTANIS then how on earth we want others to do so . Apparently Pakistanis does not matter to state of Pakistan,so these statements from arabs do not bother me at all .

. .
It's a sinecure post. GCC/KSA spend billions in US/Europe to lobby groups. In Pakistan they just buy out the top 1% echelons of the elite. Hell to rest of the 99% Miskeen Bakistanis.
Again, my question to you is, what good that 1% has brought on the table for them? Raheel holds that key position but was that conducive at all for the Saudis in their war against Yemenis? Specially, if Pakistan isn't sending boost on the ground pertaining to their Yemen war.

.

Of course Pakistani's can't do any bad in UK. Only those in KSA and GCC are bad. So goes the apologists for the GCC/KSA aka our resident Arab.

On a serious note I have often had discussions with many in UK who use these figure to lambast Pakistani's. But they never answer one question. Why is it that Pakistani/Muslims % went out of the roof after 9/11? Well part of the reason is simple. In a earlier post I mentioned signatures on a radar. If you point toward any one direction or focus to one location it is natural that your going to create a bias. If you throw your net in certain area where you know there are lots of cod fish you will catch lot of cod fish.

So it is here. Post 9/11 the Muslim community in general and Pakistani's in particular became increasingly the target of law enforcement. This creates a self fullfilling prophesy This explains the sudden spike in Muslims in prisons in UK post, yes post 9/11 which brought Muslim in the focus.

Again, my question to you is, what good that 1% has brought on the table for them?
Having a 200 million nuclear country in your pocket is no small a prize. Pakistan is not Maldives. Even that country is 'fought' over by China/India.

If this country is in their pocket, why our soldiers aren't fighting Yemenis? I bet Saudis want us do that but our army isn't. It means we aren't that much in their picket yet, isn't it?

.
That is not the point though is it? The fact is all demographics have differant signature on the radar screen. That could be because a demographic has greater tendancy to something or that the radar is only better or tuned to detecting or pointing toward certain demography. Then the rsult merely reflect the radar's bias. Therefore it is very important that public officials do not stigmatize or criminalize entire demographics for the wrongs of some. I believe we call that stereotyping.

This is exactly what we shout in UK. That is exactly what we accuse the far right BNP or EDL of when they make blanket statements about Pakistanis or Muslims. Well we have a so called friendly ummah brother of Pakistan and it's senior official effectively criminalizing Pakistanis by using broad strokes and that on twitter which is the preserve of Trump for lambasting Pakistan. I can't help in thinking this was done to please our acrh rivals the Indians. After all responsible states or officials discuss suc matters begind closed doors not shouting in public unless you want to score points.

Going to keep it short and simple. I specified ‘extreme’ and the individual carrying out the action. Extreme equates bad. Anyone means regardless of what race they belong to.

.
Crime .. yes. Drugs not that much. Nothing harsher than pot. Hardcore drug users are mostly in punjab.
because they dont have access to drugs as much.

Put them next to world's drug warehouse a.k.a Afghanistan and we will see

.
That is part of policy to buy out the Pakistani state. This is done by offering sinecure posts with attractive financial benefits, or offering business deals or hosting our elite when they are exiled like Nawaz Sharif. Thus the purchase is made.
the ex ISI chief is serving for Bahrain who massacred its own public because they started a "wrong" Arab spring.

At least we don't fund terrorist madrasas and mosques around the world, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar are the world's largest terrorist exporters.
very weak counter. actually it is wrong too. they dont send their elites . they got plenty of poor muslims to do that
we become their fodder in Pakistan, Afghanistan and middle east instead

Kaptaan is right in this matter. Pakistan needs "strategic disengagement" with the Satanic Kingdom as well as with Zionist led US. Whilst it was good that Pakistan did not send soldiers to Yemen, it is not enough.

.
Could it be that it's making sense because you have recovered from your bout of runs???
The difference is sir, I will laugh and able to take criticism but unfortunately it does not get digested well by the opposition :lol:
We are friends but we will have our differences:cheers:

I thought about it but it is not so easy. I think there are elements in the establishment who think on those lines as well but practically it is not possible under current circumstances. The reality is your economy has been crippled by the corrupt elite (BPM = Bureau., Politicians, Military) and millions of Pakistanis are working in the middle east and they form the largest chunk of the remittances to the country. We who live in the west do not send so much money to Pakistan for various reasons (not in the scope of this discussion). So a gradual approach is needed. Get rid of the corruption especially at the top level, strengthen your economy, operationalise CPEC to at least 60% of its potential. But the future indicates that disengagement is coming not only because our strategic goal are different but also KSA is gradually implementing clamping on the foreign labour and immigrants and thus their leverage on Pakistan will reduce automatically while at the same time Pakistan's economy will start to show signs of improvement and this will provide the state a backbone.

Of course, gradually and not sudden, hence "strategic"... but Pakistan must start one way or another, this Satanic Kingdom is exposing herself to the rest of the Muslim world...only blind Muslims cannot see this...

Man I know and if you followed me I have been quite vocal about it and many of people labelled me with many names. I raised the issue of the permission to Indian airline to fly above KSA to reach Israel and I didn't get a satisfactory answer and there are quite a lot Arab apologists like Batman who are more loyal to their masters than Pakistan despite being born and living in Pakistan (as per the flags). I also raise the issue of Iran signing the secret defence Pakistan pact with India but the Mullah apologists and Irani racists called me Wahabi :lol:... so mate it is not easy to be neutral in this world.
Now I predict that within two years KSA will officially recognise Israel and develop diplomatic relations with it.
