agree with Kerala part. same narrow highways and high vehicle density in west coast region(Mangalur-udupi) also.
the driving skills are needed in Indian roads where Drivers have to actually drives the Car, manoeuvring through the chaotic conditions our Cities and highways are these days(south India particularly). We are not even aware that most of the countries driving is highly dependent on traffic signals, road signs etc than driving skills.
the highest speed limit in Kerala state is 70kmph for passenger cars! Can You accept this? yet it is true that above such a speed, it is risky in highways in west coast region. speed interceptors and police educating people in highways sees no change! people are more interested in driving fast. one thing to blame is, when your state is like a long chain of congested towns all situated in highways, this is bound to happen. when 40kms of driving takes 2.25hours, crazy people will drive dangerously to reach faster.
