Test driving China's Huawei smart electric car autonomous driving on China's remote rural village roads

This blogger is a real nutter! How dare he use autopilot on such narrow and bad roads? The trees on the side of the road are so high that the radar view is blocked, what if someone suddenly appears on the side of the road?

That is actually the interesting part.

Not to mention the left side of the road is a cliff and a river.

Once the car makes a mistake, he will fall to the cliff.

The second video is more interesting.

The same country side road with human activities.

But the car handles it good.

Testing in and out from the tight parking lot.

The parking test starts at 03.15.

This one claimed to test the car in the most difficult parking spot.

And let the car figure out how to do it by itself.

This one is awesome, valet parking.

Finding a parking lot by itself in muti stories car park, like in the shopping mall.

This is very useful and it can be used in Indonesia shopping mall.

They even test it on a scenario if there's a man passing by during the parking process.

This is a hard test.

In this test, what if in a situation the cars in the parking lot park at random manner, will the car be able to detect a parking spot?

And then once it is found, in a difficult situation such as this, is the car able to park by itself?

Autonomous driving on a busy and chaotic road.

With a lot of pedestrians passing by, human activities, motorcycles, and unorderly traffic.

Testing autonomous driving system of 6 brands.
(Use auto-translator to see English subtitle)

I didn't know if China has so many car brands that have autonomous driving system.

All of them look fantastic and futuristic.

No wonder if Germany and Japan are very worry about Chinese cars, put China as the biggest rival.

When some journalists say that Chinese cars are one decade ahead, it's no kidding. At first, I didn't know what does it meant, now I get it.

China is like dropping an atomic bomb in automotive market.

Tesla is a second rate company.

Maybe..but that makes Chinese car companies 3rd rate.

The Tesla Model Y may still be the top selling car model in China so far for 2023...that's including gasoline cars..not just EVs!
