I guess Zakir Naik was afraid of the backlash in India if he said anything good about partition or the creation of Pakistan.

Muslims in India are 200 million but weak. with bengalis and Pakistani Muslims m added it would have been 600million.
we would have been 40 percent population. added with dalits, we would have been ruling India today.
second opinion is that we could have easily got independence from united indian and it would have including at least 2-3 more states if we have waited for few years.
many who see indian Muslims suffering say partition is right, but they forgot u left ur brothers at the mercy of Hindus.
but one opinion is that Muslims even 40 percent would have been left weak and poor, if they were in united India.
but it was destined that we will leave India and Hindus will get a separate homeland, so that they may be defeated in future.

No we would not have made 40%. We (Muslims) would have only made 33-30% of a United South Asia population.

Well...Zakir Naik is a famous Muslim orator, he should not say stupid things or just stay quiet on such matters.

Yes, but Zakir Naik is a gem of the Indian Muslim community. Obviously he is not involved in any terrorist activity.

but lol, he has to seek asylum in Malaysia and has to get Saudi citizenship to save himself.
