Dr. Zakir Naik says Partition was wrong

What kind of Islamization do you think ? Madinah Charter made by prophet Muhammad is a foundation of a modern political system with nationalism as its core, thus Muslim, Christian, and Jews are all seen as equal citizen ( Muslim must pay Zakat and Non Muslim must pay Jizyah, both serves as like current tax made by modern state) and Muslim also has the obligation to defense their Christian and Jews group under Madinah Charter. There are freedom of religion in Madinah Charter as well. All religious groups will get protection from the state. First 4 Chalip uses democracy ( in early form ) to rule.

Early and pure Muslim nation (Madinah as center of power) resembles current nationalist, democratic, and Republic state. Only fool who cant see the essence but seeing in Semantic thinking only (due to modern political system definition is all based on Western people language and history)

Quran prevent Muslim ruler to impose Islamic law for private life like wearing Hijab, praying, etc.

Indonesia Today is pretty Islamic and the growth rate now is the best in ASEAN and second best in G 20 after India (but our GDP percapita is twice of Indian and with better equality than most emerging economies based on OECD latest report). Alhamdulillah. We are also the largest economy in both ASEAN and Muslim world with functioning and healty democratic system (Islamic system based on Surah As Syura in Quran )
Indonesia, Malaysia, and Turkey are not Islamic states, and they do not actively pursue the goal of becoming one. In contrast, Afghanistan and Somalia are Islamic states where Sharia law is established. Pakistan, while not fully Islamic, exhibits a growing Islamic influence, constituting around 40% of its societal orientation and gradually shifting towards a more pronounced Islamic direction.

Dude, you are too much diluded with Iran, Pakistan, and Taliban kind of thing.

GO to Quran and Hadith if you want to know Islam.

What Sharia Law dude ? Only in killing, stealing, and Zinah that are different with Indonesian formal law.

We still punish killer, stealer, and prostitution as well. Only little different in punishment dude

And we have anti **** law and has criminalize any Zinah as well recently and this July we have banned interfaith marry as well.

Other 10000 law that we publish are inline with Shariah Law like about investment, marriages, etc.

About being Islamic ? More than 80 percent of Indonesian Muslim pray 5 times a day. And watch Final women FIBA Asia Cup recently between Iran vs Indonesia. Despite their women team are all wearing Hijab as obligated by their state, only one of their female fans in the stadium who wear Hijab in Thailand as the host, while 90 % Indonesian women watching the game in the stadium are all wearing Hijab

MORE OVER, SEE PROPHET MUHAMMAD OWN STATE IN MADINAH. HE NEVER SAY MADINAH AS ISLAMIC STATE

I understand now that Indonesia's level of Islamization might be more substantial than I initially perceived. However, it's worth noting that within the Muslim world, Indonesia and Malaysia aren't commonly perceived as conventional Islamic states. Iran follows the Shia branch, which is not universally recognized as Islamic by the Sunni majority, so I cannot comment definitively about their status.

Being from Indonesia, you might not be fully familiar with the intricacies of South Asian dynamics. The Pakistani state's attempt to enforce an Arab interpretation of Islam on its populace led to ethnic conflicts. Strong ethnic nationalisms, such as Bengali, Pashtoon, Muhajir, and Sindhi, often overshadowed the idea of Islamic nationalism. The culmination was the separation of Bangladesh from Pakistan in 1971.

Continuous conflicts between Punjabi Muslims and those of other ethnicities are rooted in differing Islamic interpretations, with each group believing their version to be superior. Adding to the complexity are Qadyani and Agha Khani Muslims, who hold beliefs diverging from the mainstream, and a sizable 20% of Muslims seeking a Shia state, even more radical than Sunni Muslims. Additionally, various sects like Sufis and Salafis, each convinced of the superiority of their interpretation, contribute to violence and infighting in the name of religion.

Are you stupid? There is no Arab interpretation of Islam.

Muslims follow the Qur'an and the Sunnah.

Back to the topic, Oh well that is just Zakir Naik's "personal opinion." Or somebody said later on or some years later he changed his views.

Since Zakir Naik is now living in Malaysia

Besides incompetent politicians and corrupt bureaucrats are the same stories of other Muslim countries coming out of colonialism, like the Arab countries or Indonesia or they were carved out of former empires (USSR) like Uzbekistan. So why should Pakistan be singled out, lol?
