As far as Dr Qadeer Khan is concerned I think he should be treated with dignity and respect, but I think he is already highly respected by all. His religious views are complete opposite of mine yet I can have the moral decency to have immense respect for him for his sacrifices for Pakistan. Coming to the point of work of Dr Abdul Salam, the noble prize was actually given to three scientists in which he was one. So his work was also shared and who knows to what extant he actually contributed and how much blessing were bestowed upon him by Zionist masters as the two (or atleast one) other scientists were jews.

Lol, any person with the knowledge of nuclear science and technology will tell you that Uranium enrichment is actually the only step involved in achieving the manufacturing of a nuclear device. There were hundreds and thousands of other scientist involved in the project but had we not achieved the Uranium enrichment technology, never would we have been able to acquire a self-dependent nuclear program. From nuclear devices to nuclear power plants, even Karachi nuclear plant, every single project owes its debt of existence to Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan.

Physics in Pakistan would have seen unprecedented heights if this genius would have been honored and cared for according to his caliber and stature. The way you are changing the topic and insisting on not to give your WISE opinion on manufacturing of a nuclear device, makes further need of any argument or response useless.

And, Yes. For us, Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan is thousand times more respectful than Noble laureate, in a same way where a Missile man is selected a president while no Noble laureate ever assumed that office.

To make a nuclear reactor, the uranium needs to be enriched so that 20% of it is uranium 235. For nuclear bombs, that figure needs to be nearer 80 or 90%. Get around 50kg of this enriched uranium - the critical mass - and you have a bomb. Any less and the chain reaction would not cause an explosion.

Those who sell national secret in this part of the world are never humiliated neither are ever put under house arrest. They mostly become the Prime Ministers or at least State ministers, and if they ever sense a danger in this country, they are than given nationalities of the first world.
