DOOMSDAY EXPRESS China’s plan for nuclear bullet train missile launcher to put ‘1,000 nukes’ in strike range of Western cities

It has done well against Turkey. Why you think are no turks in Greece anymore?
The only reason you're not speaking Turkish is because Russia, Britain and France bailed you out.

We also spoke no turkish in the 400 years under ottoman opression. And that Greece is free if turks was our own doing. Read this:

"The Turks of Greece left few traces. They disappeared suddenly and finally in the spring of 1821 unmourned and unnoticed by the rest of the world....It was hard to believe then that Greece once contained a large population of Turkish descent, living in small communities all over the country, prosperous farmers, merchants, and officials, whose families had known no other home for hundreds of years...They were killed deliberately, without qualm or scruple, and there was no regrets either then or later.[26]"

.
We will see. In war evrything is allowed. Your nuke trains and your dam breaking.

The OP almost always talks about how his country can do this, and how his country can do that.

He never seems to talk about what other countries can retaliate with. Escpecially in a hot nuclear war, where just about everything would be a target.

You got saved by Russia, France and Britain. You can't fight your way out of a wet paper bag on your own since Romans whooped your ***.

Oh we did the massacres ourself. I assure you no brit or french was present when our ancestors massacred them. 😅

As for the Romans, you see we always win in the end. We have good ability to take over the show.

Last time Turkey made a move against you in Cyprus you took it like an obedient dog. Greece is a has been nation and you're masturbating to a glorious period that was mostly fiction.

Btw just saw you escaped the Winnie Pooh empire and chose the west for your exile. Good decission. And thank you for paying weapons for Ukraine with your taxes. Much appreciated.

A one shot wonder whose empire didn't even last until his death? That was how many years ago and what have you accomplished since other than roll over to Turkiye?

Thanks for illustrating my point. Talk to me when you can take Constantinople back.

This seems like a waste of time since you could just stick them in a fishing fleet boat that looks the same as 100 others.

Plus you don't have to worry about a HSR train with a nuclear weapon hitting a mudslide and derailing. This was just today
The train option seems like a fluff piece for public consumption because it’s an “exciting” visual people can imagine. What the Chinese seem to really be doing is a modernized version of the MX shell game, but with silos and not horizontal bunkers. 23 silos give or take was the max plan, so that many per missile per DF-41 (which probably has 4-6 warheads (in HGV bodies plus decoys) considering the last warhead the Chinese tested was 470 kg, and the throw weight of the DF-41 is about 60% of the MX missile). There are building fields of 150 silos each in Inner Mongolia; 2-3 fields so far. That could be as low as 50 warheads but as high as 100 warheads. All over 300-450 silos.

Now imagine scaling that up by one order or magnitude. 500-1000 warheads over 3000-4500 silos across 20-30 locations. Down the line that warhead count could be doubled or tripled with more real missiles in those silos and the world wouldn’t even know.

Concrete and steel are cheaper then Missiles and warheads, so they could go on building out thousands of silos (MX had a plan for 200 missiles throughout 4600 bunkers, so no reason the Chinese can’t copy the same approach to survivability) and keep the world guessing.

Furthermore, their navy could create a secure bastion (with all the infrastructure they can build on the seabed and all the ships they are building) in the Bohai sea and operate half a dozen SSBN there. With a secure and large enough bastion, the SSBNs don’t even need to be the quietest subs out there.

16 missiles on each SSBN with 3-4 warheads a piece on each missile; which could mean 288-384 warheads in that bastion alone, as a second strike force. That’s if they stop at just 6 SSBNs. They could double their SSBN count if they wanted to down the line or just have their SSBN in dry dock to be surged in case of heightened tensions.

And they already have those 3000 miles of tunnels, so there are probably tens of thousands of shorter range missiles in there with an unknown number of how many are nuclear armed.

They are probably well on their way to building up to reach parity with Russia and the US, to enable them to operate under a comprehensive and survivable nuclear umbrella. I doubt the Chinese will even come to an arms control discussion if the US offers limits on ABM systems; they don’t seem like they will repeat the mistakes of the Russians.

Yes the US did the missile shell game with the railroads. I'm sure however they were not transporting nuclear weapons near moderately to heavily populated areas just to have it fall off the track due to something stupid and cause an incident.

They canceled the 24 hour a day B-52 flights due to an incident.

Do you mean operation chrome dome with the B-52 and the ALCM?

A recent news story from one of the three big networks said 70% of our nukes are on SSBN, considering the USN dominated the seas all these other options don’t hold a candle to hiding our assets in the largest domain possible, the sea.

What rubbish and hogwash Western spin artists can conjure up!

China already got the Great Underground Wall of China

Due to the great secrecy surrounding the tunnels, not much information about them is publicly available; however, it is believed[by whom?] that the tunnels allow for mobile ICBMs to be shuttled around to different silos, and possibly stored in reinforced underground bunkers. This greatly enhances the ICBM's chance of survival in a direct nuclear strike, which enables their use in a second strike unlike ICBMs based in static nuclear silos which generally do not survive a direct nuclear attack.

A report written by a Georgetown University team led by Phillip Karber conducted a three-year study mapping out China's complex tunnel system, which stretches 5,000 km (3,000 miles). The report determined that the size of the Chinese nuclear arsenal is understated and as many as 3,000 nuclear warheads may be stored in the tunnel network.[3][4] This hypothetical maximum storage or basing capacity along with Karber's own misconceived fissile production suggestions,[5][6] resulted in Western media purporting that 3,000 warheads were actually in the facility. The Karber study went on to state that the tunnels are not likely to be breached by conventional or low-yield earth-penetrating nuclear weapons such as the B61-11.

DF-41s are in TELs that can be moved about anywhere and setup there completed in 3 to 5 minutes and ready to fire off.

Let me explain you something...
A single 1 megaton thermonuclear weights 250kg, a little more with a reentry vehicle.
Here's a simulation of the effets, [plume shaped] fallout areas included, of 60x 1Mt surface blasts in China... Fallout areas in yellow need immediate evacuation, those in orange = you need a fallout shelter. The pale yellow has, at best, 10x more radioactivity than the worst zones in the Fukushima interdiction zone. In fact the area made improper for living in as well as unable to bring food or water is about twice-thrice the plume size but due to nonconstant local winds and lighter particles, it can't be modelized.
60x1Mt on PRC.jpg

These are only 60 nukes of 1Mt, which means only e.g. 20 Jericho-III ICBMs with 3x 1Mt MIRVs, or if you prefer, the quarter of Israel's "big" boomers... 10 Trident-II SLBMs can carry 120 RV/W88 of 475 kilotons, the effect would be similar, you'd just do twice as many blast with half of the fallouts per blast... Note that an Ohio-class submarine carries up to 24 Trident-II with up to 12x W88 MIRVs per missile...
These 60 strikes means that the 3 Gorges dam goes as well as the 51 main cities and large areas around them are contaminated...
In other terms, you need immediate evacuation of half a billion people, say goodbye to any trade as all the ports are radioactive, etc etc...
With this alone, it's already enough to ****-up PRC and it's not even the half of what a single Ohio-class submarine can do or the quarter of the Israeli big-boomers...

So, you know, you can have 3000 Dong-Feng moving on TELs over 5000km of tunnels dug 400m under the surface or 1000 missiles loaded on trains, as well as bragging about a 200 knots drone submarine with a 100 Mt warhead that would create a 500m high tsunami while the 200 megatons of the Krakatoa blast ended with a 76m high wave at 65km but it was due to 2km³ of the mountain sliding into the sea:man_in_love:

Now if you don't get what is called nuclear wanking in the industry, well, PRC with your Xi telling the same stupid things Hitler used to prior to WW2 and being into a military build up, you may discover the results sooner than you think : even small nuclear powers like India, NoKo, Pakistan, Taiwan, South Korea or Japan, can hit you so hard that from a top-3 world economy besides USA and EU, North-Korea will end being more powerful than PRC.
IMHO, the next nuclear states might be Indonesia, Vietnam maybe even the Philippines.
Xi is a genius of the likes of Putin ; it's an absolutely great idea to have territorial disputes with ALL neighbours.. Some may decide to do proliferation, maybe already have done so...
You know, India sell BrahMos anti-ship missile to the Philippines, and India didn't signed the NPT while they can do nuke tests without a live blast in French LMJ facility...
Xi may want to grab land from Vietnam, Taiwan, who knows, maybe even Mongolia, then be met with tactical nukes, and with cruise missiles filled of Cobalt-60 or Caesium blowing over strategic areas spreading highly radioactive elements,

Perhaps Western spin doctors hoping to fool China to discard all of that and use their crazy stupid insane idea of using bullet train that cannot be hidden and cannot be protected so that Western USA devils can easily destroy China key weapons.
:pleasantry:

:enjoy:
You know, it might be more like the Ukraine case, except that PLA will attack nuclear states without knowing they're nuclear... PRC is the aggressor and the bully in the region

Japan was an industrial power in 1930 while China was an agrarian society barely able to produce steel. China is now the world's largest industrial power, just like US was the largest industrial power before WWII.

Alright, don't cry about war crimes then if you're willing to commit them. China already fought US to a standstill when it was dirt poor in 1951. It's a matter of whether we want to, not whether we could.
It all depends what your industry produces: you know, between cheap camping gear, T-shirts or sex-toys sold on AliExpress, Sukhoi copies with bad engines made at Shenyang factory or high-end jet fighters by Dassault or Northrop (NGAD), there is Industry and industry.
Someone said that PRC is #1 steel maker. From a military POV, steel is mostly used for tanks and...

At the present day, EU is the only area where a truly impressive material for armour can be industrially produced : 100x stronger than the best steel at same thickness => 10cm = 10m of steel (!),melts at 2652°C, stores energy, can do magnetic levitation...Next Dassault jet-fighter will use this... Some already question why it will have reaction control system like the Space Shuttle. If the future Nexter/Krauss-Maffei tank uses this... It'll take ATGMs loaded with what France is the #1 producer : antimatter, to demolish one...

So, as I pointed, there is Industry and industry
