WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The acquisition by Saudi Arabia and a number of US-friendly countries of nuclear weapons have become necessary to confront rogue states such as Iran and North Korea, said Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Trump, in an interview with the CNN network, confirmed his full opposition to the nuclear deal signed by the US administration and six superpowers with Iran last year, claiming it was the most appropriate way to prevent Tehran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.
Trump commented on the move, saying, "Iran will be able to get a nuclear weapon in ten years .. I'm sure it will get it."
Trump described the fact that Saudi Arabia, Japan and South Korea having "nuclear weapons" from the United States is "inevitable" to confront Iran and North Korea.
Trump stressed that the allied countries will already get nuclear weapons in the near future, "whether it got support from America or not," he said.

* It is already a 2 years old article (not that old in politics..), but it is a good indication of Saudi Arabia getting the right to the full nuclear cycle and the best nuclear technologies from the US.. A matter which is currently being negotiated.. So the prospects are almost 100%..
