What's new

Dollar to dollar Bangladesh economy is same as Melbourne City

Bee... what ?
Je don't know. :D
You know,I am more like into that grape juice.

BEEEER....quoi? BEEEER....alors? BEEEEER.....c'est un vin non? :D

I just remember Obelix having a really non-fun time when he was in England on account of all the warm beer and boiled boar (instead of roast!). As a kid I never knew what the difference really was, but fully understand what he was on about now hehe!

It's sad because I did that just yesterday lol. It got down to -25 C here....in early March!!!!!

Now its back up to a more reasonable 0...and we're even getting rain (that freezes to ice). Stupid cold fronts!

@Bilal9

You got a final warning from me before not to label people as false flag at your personal whim.

You ignored it ...so I will be reporting each and every post you do so and action will be taken by the mods just like it was done now in this thread.

Learn to correct this behaviour or the action will continue.

Average Indian consumes double the average Bangladeshi :D

Double and growing. Look at any basic good or service and you will quickly see why.

Double and growing faster. ;)

I knew almost exactly what that meant. It sucked drinking warm coke right? I applied the same logic.

beer is haram:astagh: either it warm or cold

but if you want to breach it, at least get something more valued than a glass of beer. The sin you are trying to commit is the same

nice fact....

if i may add... bangladesh's economy is higher than each individual state in india except maharashtra, had these states been independent countries
or if BD was an Indian state, it would have been second richest state in India after Maharashtra.

. .
Which is pretty impressive considering it's much smaller than most of Indian states

It would be 4th richest (in total) and what matters more than geographic area is the population (esp per capita GDP and wealth). Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan are much significantly larger than Tamil Nadu....yet TN is far richer per person....and has a much larger total economy as well.

Bangladesh outpopulates all Indian states but 1 (UP) often by huge amounts....so its no surprise in total output it outranks most of them too.

But it is near the bottom in the per capita PPP ranking (as is UP as well). Thats what matters much more.

5. UP 168 billion $
6. Gujarat 150 billion $
7. West Bengal 138 billion $
8. MP/Rajasthan 110 billion $ each
9. Andhra/Telangana 100 billion $ each

Stop being obsessed with this PPP as it is subjective. Focus on actual dollar conversion.
