What contradiction. MEA said there is agreement to resolve this peacefully. Since day 1, China already said they want to resolve this peacefully but India must retreat first, no negotiations before that. That's the agreement.

Next, MEA said both sides disengaged, that meant India will retreat, and China will not be in war posture pointing weapons at India. Not that MEA explicitly did not use the word mutual withdrawal, but an ambiguous word'disengagement'.

Next, MEA say they were monitoring the disengagement. Maybe China took away missiles, and other heavy weapons to deescalate? But what is confirmed is Chinese troops will continue to be stationed there and patrol Doklam. That's the biggest status quo change. Permanent Chinese presence.

Bro, let me give you a hint. Go type Doklam in google, 99% are Indian news claiming victory, none even cared to take a look at the official Chinese statements. All were lungi dancing like no tomorrow.

Dozens of Indian anal lyst have different 'sources' telling different stories. What is the truth? Don't you find it suspicious MEA is awfully silent. If this was a victory, why are they not uttering a single word. They are not countering what China said at all.

Based on a neutral analysis, I believe China did give Modi a concession by postponing the construction after winter and after his trip to Beijing. This will give time for this to die down and Indian media will forget it, then when China restarts construction, Modi will not face media fire. What is important for Modi is not strategic victory but media victory, he needs to get reelected, not Mr. Xi.

Then they showed the troops and equipment moving to attend the 90 th anniversary in inner mangolia region which is on the opposite direction as moving to the India China border that's lie number three .

If there is talk about road building, let India state it.
No need so much talk and conjectures about it.
Just state that China and India did talk about the road as condition for India to stand down.
So far there is no statement affirming this, even from India, only suggestions or opinions that it is such.
Why is it so difficult for Indian Officials to state that yes, China agreed to stop for India to stand down, simple.
Fact is India stood down, without statement from China that it had stopped road construction due to agreement with India.
Statement from China is simply "get yours asses off Donglang immediately".
