I think Ind & Pak should cooperate in this issue...place sensors onboard to eavesdrop strange signals & emissions..develop S.codes to decipher & decode (heavily encrypted data)...

Pakistan is not the first country who is victim of American "friendship" and this is not the first time our "friend" deceived us. When we conclude that American equipment is not reliable, that only sums up the "disease" part and its cure and prevention is the ultimate goal and area to think about. I thank God a trillion gazillion times that we are at the last page of the book of friendship with America but we are only starting the introductory chapters of our friendship with a great country and emerging super-power of the world.

well it could b more dangerous though
there are some devices that tracks and can submit info about many things and such devices are found to b very small nearly about 1 inch^2
and these can track paths and other info as well (like speed,data,connections,and many other things) if they are connected to certain wires i.e flight data controllers or main jet pc's

It will be next to impossible or even if detected, extremely demanding to replace such sections that has been installed on purpose of spying. If such instruments are installed, those will be using encoded data and MUST be integral part of F-16's communication infrastructure. Just take example of Computer Viruses that attach themselves with Windows Dlls that are genuinely used for clean communication like smss.exe, Generic Host for Win32, Dr. Watson, Error reporting service and automatic updates etc etc. When you disable any of these communication ports fearing viral activity, your system's communication is hampered considerably and you have no other option but to let these viruses stay, Install Antivirus (which can again damage the original exe files) or reinstall the whole operating system after clean formatting.

So clearn formatting would mean trash all F-16 and get our birds from China, BUT thats not an option, so we are left with Anti-virus treatment or keep using these machines with our fingers crossed. BUT we must not purchase any equipment from a friend who loves to deceive us. Its time to put a full stop at American Hardware.

Naturally, we (Indian's & US) are friends. Even Chinese & Indians have military relationships.

True, leaving America would not be easy and we understand China is not equal to America at present neither we expect them to do beyond their capacity. Question is are we ready for the surgery and get the cancer out, which would mean blood, pain and "bed rest" for many months to come or we should avoid the surgery pain and keep the cancer inside which will ultimately bring more pain and price than we can offer. We have been over-dependent on America in the past and we got to pay for it and I think we must. There is no way out but that.

You can read that happening already. We are getting 18 F-16s from America and 36 J-10s from China, we have ordered 8 Frigates from China and 1 is coming from America. Our Major suppliers are changing from America to Turkey (Radars, Possibly Helicopters, Night Visions), Russia (Jet Engiens), China, France (Tiger Helicopters) and Germany (Subs) and Korea.

And Americans are also realizing that we are at the last pages of our ties with Pakistan. Kerry Luger Bill was an attempt to fill the gaps but they polluted it with wishful remarks and got further blown away. We can survive without America but America will cough to death without our support. And guess what, it is about the time.

Leave military hardware..what about US financial aid ? IMF & ADB all have American Leverage....Pakistan won't survive without US help (with its heavy deft and poor repayment history) THIS ALL HAPPENED BECOZE U PEOPLE ONLY HAD INDIA CENTRIC VIEWS..nothing else...Since independence Pak's only aim was to defeat INDIA & win Kashmir.Now what the point in cutting Off relations with US..(from frying pan to fire) I think there r no alternatives other than comply with US at present and work towards less dependence on US aid in future.Make peace with INDIA at any cost.
