guys i respect Imran khan and i am sure he will be the next prime minister.
in this interview karan thappar asked him whats his plan for economic revival?? first he couldnt give a proper answer, then he said we will put more taxes and ask ppl not to save black money in swiss banks. basically he is betting on his popularity to save this country. Karan thappar finds his ideas vague and recommends him to work on a more advanced and thoughtfull longterm plan for growth.

i personally think a strong pakistani economy is good for india. according to my understanding pakistan needs atleast 15-20 years of economic growth and planned development to even be capable to be stand on its feel and reject all aids with string attached.

a strong pakistan is only possible is pakistan economy grows for 20 yrs atleast without any more wars, invasions, attacks, blasts and military coups.

so my question whats the plan?? is betting on Mr Khan worth it? after seeing this interview i am doubtfull. :undecided:

Imran Khan will be in the same class as Musharraf and Benzair, a bit better than Zardari.
He is a selfish person with a bunch of delusions to make people stupid.

I completely agree that an economically sound Pakistan will be in India's interest , They need to come out of their current obsessions and rather concentrate heavily on economic growth , for that they need more investment not just from china but from all across the globe. ...

For Investment from international community they need to ensure peace prevails in their country and for that they need to exterminatate all kind of good and bad "terrorists" from their soil. Just by raising taxes and claiming to bring back money from swiss bank will not help Pak.

Once Pak will align its economy with international economies , it will not be the same Pakistan as it is today , indirectly helping India to have a peaceful and rapid growth without threats of war .

the problem here is that pakistan doesnt have a defined path of development. they make their 5 year plans but they r never followed because govts change and are thrown away anyday. their interests change if india does a nuclear test or nuclear sub is launched.

pakistan needs strong program for atleast 20 years divided in 4, 5 year programs to revive. first develop agriculture, then develop basic public sector basic industries like ongc, bhel and power industries. once that happens pakistan can let its economy thrive. but who will do it? imran bhai is confused.:undecided:

One cant expect too much from a politician , its like choosing the lesser devil among the existing devils .... they all are bad , who the less bad than others is the best option !!

So IK surely appears lesser evil compared to your other options

With friends like India, who needs enemies.

Ask yourself the question , whether pak has lost more ppl on its western border or on the eastern border in the last 12 yrs and you will realize the answer to it !

if pakistan was today a stable and friendly country, indian companies are ready to invest billion here anyday. u have the potential but not environment where any sane buisness can be done. thats why i have opened this thread. dont derail it.

It sound like you are talking about India by looking at some mirror.

If i have a choice, i would go and choose PML-N excluding Sharrif brethren leadership in the lot.
Their party was the only one back in the days to make Pakistan a strong economic power.
There is no doubt they have politicians that are very well capable. in the 90s, we saw Pakistan more or less in the same path as India. Even with the the world wide Sanctions in between, this party managed to keep corruption level/terrorism level stable. When PPP won the 2008 elections, PML-N was part of the coalition to bring economic prosperity. After they backed out in few months, inflation rate in the country with Zardari leadership reached upto 13.91%.
Imran khan cannot work because he doesnt have the team. He is just collecting all the worst people i.e MQM, former PPP, PML-Q members...

You are the one derailing your own opened thread, It is supposed to be about Pakistani Economy, not Indian economy.
So your intention of trolling is quite obvious.

Imran Khan isn't confused he has all economic plan ready... He has major economic experts and business owners in his political party..... Besides, when Thappur interviewed him, IK hadn't developed a economic plan, don't worry he will

If Afghanistan was on the eastern border it would have been the eastern one, so your question is irrelevant.

Kid, PML-N did jack$hit! Major corruption by the guy! Mr. Takloo buys votes by bribing students!
