Does India have a history of 10000 years?

Yaa indians were once dinosaurs , later they converted to Indians but still they need to do a lot of work to becomes humans ;)

This is a forum for discussion. The fact that Indians would treat mythology and legends shows how Indians in general handle fact, logic and empirical analysis. The end result is a nation of poverty, defacation, lawlessnessand and individual lack of self awareness.
The people living in the same region today are saying they were united 10000 years back then who the hell are you to prove it wrong?

History requires evidence, not hearsay. I think Indians are very lackadaisical with historical facts. Your statement that people's claim about historical fact just because they are "living in the same region today" shows lack of analytical ability.

History starts either verifiable written recording dated back to the time of writing. When was India's first written recording of History and that the evidence is recorded within the life time after the actual event. Otherwise, they are pre-history or legends.

Indian history is mostly myth. Little if anything was recorded.

I ever tried to research Indian history. Its so confusing.

Even as late as 600 AD Indians already lost all knowledge of their own Buddhist Kingdoms. It took an European to rediscover them by reading from Chinese records by Xuan Zhang.

No point arguing. You will vomit blood.

There has been human civilization at Jericho, Palestine, going back to 9,000 BCE approximately, so it's roughly 11,000 years old.

I think the first written language in human history, is Sumerian.

There are multiple rock paintings in India that is over 15,000 years old. Those are the only archaeological "evidence" of civilization that survived since they were deep in caves.

Culture is not some thing materialistic, its reflected in the way of life,
IVC culture is non existent in current Pakistan/ Afganistan,

Indians have every thing to do with IVC, there tonnes of stuff in our day today life from IVC , beliefs , language, Gods etc.
IVC > Sanskrit > Pali > Most Indian Languages (from Punjabi to Bangali to Marathi). I can give 100s of such examples

Tell me one thing Pakistanis have common with IVC?
So the Indians have to do every thing with IVC.... so tell me which culture did IVC which ended in 1900 B.C. is identical to; Punjabi culture or Bengali or Tamil or Keralan or Assames culture or what?
More appropriate comparison were investigated by scholars, both eastern and westerner, in past between IVC and the Vedic period(1500 to 500 BC), and concluded that these two were separate and distinct periods, cultures and civilizations. (here I am taking liberty to write Vedic as a civilization).

For indians its Bharat Varsh
So probably it would not make sense to you when you talk about India.
Probably reading more about Jambhu Dweep - > Bharat Khanda - > Bharat Varsha will help you to understand the history.

Next time please do check your back when you make loud noise.

Islam came like 2000 yrs ago, so who are these guys at Riwat, for sure not muslims.
Although we know Gandhars where there before 2000yrs where Riwat is and they where following Hinduism.

India or Indika or Indica were refered to lands of Indus River; to a land mass not a nation or civilisation by Greeks; Like now we say of Central Asia, or Europe;
What was then Northern portion of Subcontinent called by Greeks?
What was then Southern portion of Subcontinent catted by Greeks?
What was the Eastern portion of Subcontinent called by Greek?
And more importantly, what people or people or nations or states that were residing in Indus Valley called or identified themselves?

Before Greeks has known this part of world, a certain portion of north-western sub-continent was named as Septa-Sindhu; that is, Land of five rivers of Punjab, Indus and Saraswati;
I wonder, at that time, what other portions (Central, southern, easterner) of Sub-continent were called or identified with or people or nations residing then called themselves.

No body in Subcontinent identified itself Indian (to a single nation identity) till British subjugated the different and multiple nationalities, tribes etc. and called everyone Indian.

I think you don't know that horse was not found naturally in Sub-continent; IVC which ended 1900 B.C. and left behind a lot of information of its resident and flora and fauna; horse is missing, nowhere to be found on seals (except a desperate attempt to forge a horse seal was made by some desperate persons ), toys, tablets etc.
Aryans introduced the horse in sub-continent.
