The only security we need to ensure is our own water area which has a lot of natural resources. What happens beyond that shouldn't be our concern.

How do you propose it to happen when DADA India is sending its oil companies to dig in our part of BoB.

For another matter, I have saved one of your earlier posts where you said any of the BD armed forces are not ready to buy anything military from India. BD military doctrine prohibits it. I cherish reading the post. So, what do you think the BD armed forces' position is now vis-a-vis India?

I think the position remains same. It should not and probably will not buy any strategic military article from India. Although, I had posted few days back a news from BDMilitary that BAF is planning to get Indians helos but that news seems to be baseless. So we are where we were before.

Regarding India digging in our part of BoB, well its a complicated matter and you know that too. With the Indian stooge is power, I dont see how Armed Forces can play any part in deterring it. Unfortunate but have to stick to our limitations and protect our resources as much as possible, possibly through diplomatic means.

But, the big DADA has offered a $500million military credit to BD. I wonder what military goodies BD will buy from it. However, it seems BD is taking a long time to come to a decision.

As I stated my predictions earlier, it will likely not be any important military equipment. However, that LoC can be poured into areas such as inter-force trainings, Sampritis or purchases for Coast Guard or BGB. I highly doubt it will be any equipment for the main 3 forces.

But then again, Bangladeshis by nature are unpredictable.. both by emotion and attitude. Wont be surprised if my predictions go wrong.

India will not get any deep sea port here. Probably, the Japanese would build it. The Chinese were also in contention but I reckon the former is a popular choice. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
