Does America want Pakistan to fail?

America wants Pakistan to fail so thats why it has given us $10 billion already and has made a commitment of giving $1.5 a year for like the next 10 years? Great logic indeed. Keep the conspiracy theories coming, they sure are proving to be rational

America has not 'given us' $10 Billion - approximately $6 Billion of that was reimbursements under FMS, for expenses incurred by Pakistan in supporting US operations in Afghanistan.

The US has made no commitment for future aid as of right now - the US has very reluctantly released approximately 400 million of 1.5 Billion owed to us in reimbursements from over a year and half ago.

The accounting for this money was completed months ago - so why the delay? Oh I forgot, the US likes to keep the money from other nations, and the product she is supposed to deliver for that money, and then offer 'wheat' as a means of repayment years later.

Lets not go over the moon about 'US support' when little tangible support can be seen.

it is to the best interest of us Americans to have Pakistan under our control, instead of in allies with China or India, no matter what consequences it takes, that's what we did to Yugoslavia, Korea, Japan and Middle East

furthermore that's why we are the most powerful nation in this world

It would be rather nice if the Indians did the same as well, and a cessation of the myriad 'conspiracy theories' about the ISI's 'nexus' with every imaginable terrorist organization in the world in the Western and Indian media would be rather welcome as well.

The same goes for the myriad 'think tanks' and 'analysts' writing about how 'Pakistan is an artificial state' and its impending disintegration.

The fear mongering, paranoia and conspiracy theories are not the sole domain of Pakistanis.
This has nothing to do with India; nor do India and Pakistan share an equitable relationship when it comes to terrorism.

Exactly its the Sino-Pak friendship and our nukes which are an agetation for the US. They dont want us to fail however they surely want to have our nukes .
After getting our Nukes (in dreams) they froce us to give up Kashmir and stop all posible friendly ties with China . Further they will like to have controll over the riches of Balochistan . Once our Nukes are gone they will again blackmail us by warnings such as "we will bomb you to the stoneage " . People have no idea that how the US and IMF officials behaved to our Government before Becoming a Nuclear power.

There is no denying that US wants Pakistan to fail otherwise how would they justify about sending their troops across the border in the name of securing Pakistan and most importantly securing nukes.

U.S. government is getting closer to India by the day.

Israel-U.S.-India have a strong bond and we all know how much they hate Muslim "extremists".

Any country that is this close to India, we should be careful of.

The response was in terms of your statement about 'Pakistani conspiracy theories' and 'blame game'- on that count, yes, my point is relevant.

And you are correct, there is no comparison between India and Pakistan on terror, since unlike India, we did not use terror to break away sovereign part of another nation (East Pakistan), nor did we attempt to.

We did not create the LTTE and we did not support the warlords and criminals of the Northern Alliance who carried out ethnic massacres, nor are we the ones (like India) supporting terrorism in Baluchistan.
