Do you cook ?

yes I cook both the full meals and prepare snacks and sweets as well although limited variety (Eastern and Western).
nothing special or exceptional they are passable. grilling roasting shallow frying or simple cooking
I did perfect the chicken Karahi tough although and mince meat is not bad either I do struggle with making daals though.
best part is that i can make edible roti for myself which is a big deal for me when my wife is not around and I cant go out to buy naan etc

I was thinking to start thread like this but my laziness:ashamed:
Yes I do cook as I'm living alone and eat out every time not good for health and wealth:p: I cook almost famous curries few pasta and Japanese food. Last time I try to make kaddhi but recipe went wrong and was not a good experience will try again someday.

Awesome.. I started learning cooking by helping my mother in the kitchen. Both my mom and aunt are awesome cooks..

Bengali and Punjabi cuisine I can cook. Lately I have been good with the grill too!!
You should try my Chicken Dum Biryani sometime..

One time, we, some 15 guys had gone for an outing. With some help, I had cooked dinner and lunch.
Chicken curry, Mutter Panner and Pulav..
Ladke log ungliyan chat te reh gaye!!
Cooking for yourself or 2-3 guys is one thing, and cooking for 15 hungry young guys is completely different!!
When you live you college to uni life out of country and without parents then you have to learn to survive in that you learn multiple stuff.. Some traditional and the rest multinational. Btw there were days when we had some other friends cooking too and those were the Indian girls those days we did get to eat chapati...:azn:

At home do make just to keep in practice once a week or 10 days...
Pies, cobblers, shrimp and noodles (stir fried with some veggies and topped with red wine vinegar), Chicken stir fried with veggies, roasted chicken, chicken and rice, hamburgers, hot dogs, steaks, french toast, all kinds of potaters, spaghetti, pizza, muffins, candied carrots, candied apples, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs (deviled, salad, sandwich) and other things...
I can cook pastas. Lasanga is my favorite. I can also cook Biryani, Aloo Keema and make Parathas. Anday tou har ko bana leta hai. :P

Also, I bake a little bit.
I love to cook, I don;t get enough time to cook. I try to cook every weekend, and wifey cooks on weekdays. I enjoy cooking on the grill, on cuisine: I am pretty good at cooking Punjabi, Bengali and Marathi recipes, I am also decent at making pasta's. Baking is out of my realm and I would never even try it. My wife is an expert baker, her cakes and deserts can out do the best out there.

Currently I am trying my hand with more soups and stews.
I apologize for creating any insecurities. I have limited such posts for quite some time now. :D
I cook....of course!!!
:-)

I have come up with my own 5 min baking recipes.

But you know who comes up with the best pictures on food???
@Syed.Ali.Haider:agree:

Sure I do. Mutton takes much more time to cook than chicken, its harder meat.
You can make meatballs with any kind of meat. The kheema is the base.

There is a friend of mine who cooks awesome, simply awesome mutton kadhai. The entire preparation takes about 3 hours, but worth the wait..

Good you know how to boil eggs :P

That I actually never did

Even making sandwiches is an art!

Some avocado, tomato, lettuce, onions.. Then you add the sauce of your liking, tomato ketchup, mayonnaise, a slice of cheese and you have a base ready..
Then you can add anything to it, egg or any meat of you liking, pickles..and you have a fantastic snack ready...

I'm feeling hungry again after reading above posts. I loose appetite instantly whenever I try to make anything so keep my distance
