Do you cook ?

Once had Rasgullas from KC Das. they were DIVINE :fans:
In mumbai there is a chain by name of Sweet Bengal, they too serve some real nice Bengali goodies, especially the ones made from Palm Jaggery.
Where in Mumbai ? Are you from Mumbai ? I know the city well :)

KC Das rasgullas are available in cans or the big ones that they prepare everyday. The ones in the can are not so good, obvious reasons.
The other ones are really awesome. Whenever I go to Kolkata, I try to bring back some for my friends, it requires special packaging, else they don't allow it in flights. It lasts for only a day and a half at max, then it may go stale.
 
aww...I wish I could make some for you.. I'm sure you can find some in sweet shops in your place ?

The picture below is of a sweet shop, which I personally consider the best in India, K.C. Das.

It's in the city of Kolkata, Esplanade, very old place.

I have Sony sweets nearby, but I never had the time to go there.

Not really, but i live nearby.

Chembur (maitree park) has one. Another one has opened in Jupiter Mall Thane (right next to Jupiter Hospital). One more i know is in Hiranandani estate, Ghorbunder road, Thane.

Aha! I used to stay in Goregaon.

If you want to try Bengali food someday, try Bijoli Grill in Powai.
One of the best is Bhajohari Manna, but I think they have a policy of having only one kitchen, so it's available only in Kolkata, 2-3 outlets.
 
Cooking looks really interesting, but I think it's difficult, so I never bothered.....

Necessity is mother of all inventions... Its only a mater of time....Difficult issues became piece of cake :agree:

Seekh kebab Masala half pack

Minch ( your choice ) I use Chicken 500g

Onion small half cut Ginger 2 inch Garlic 3/4 pieces (grind all in mixer like paste)

Green chili not hot one ( or as u like )

Melted butter two big spoons

Salat as per your taste

Chat masala

How to make
Put Minch and the paste of onion/garlic/ginger, half pack of seekh kebab masala, melted butter, salt in a bowl and mix it very well and put it in refrigerator for 2/3 hours.
Cut and open the chilies clean em inside nicely and put a chutki;) bhar chat masala in each one:tup:
Cover that chilies with Minch like roll and cook it in deep fry oil.
Mazedar fried seekh kebab ready to eat as snack or enjoy with some curry nan.

Weekend pe banata hoon :) I have some friends coming.

Don't you use grill for that ? Or just only frying in oil ?

One more at Viviana mall in thane west. I tried Rasmalai there but its not that good...
