As for the poll, Pakistani Muslims will vote YES, indian hindus will vote no..because you indian hindus have no faith.

The thread was started by an Indian Muslim. Doesn't matter who Votes what. But people like you only believe in extreme religious view. You don't need to explain anything to Indian. We know better than you. If I remember, sometime back You said All Mohajirs are Anti-Pakistani and should go back to India and later you were banned too. People like you doesn't make any sense. But the vast majority of human beings on this Earth, do follow one religion or another.

So if "we" means humanity as a whole, then yes... "we" do need it.

Science just explains how things happen. But the things that happen are designed by God.

Science tells us the secret mechanisms of systems.
Like how we get oxygen from trees and how we get energy from food. But Science could not prove yet who designed this system for getting oxygen.

And Human is the most intelligent being created by GOd, and it is said in religious books. If you notice you will find that Human can make many things like car, planes, buildings and what not! Can a monkey make any thing? According to evolution theory, if we came from monkey then why monkey can not make even a simple thing when we can make rocket? How all of a sudden human got all the intelligence from monkey but monkey got nothing? Cos God give us the maximum intelligence. It's not be gotten from any monkey!

Why don't you ask the 1.6 billion Muslims or the 2 billion Christians if they "need" their religion or not.

"Need" is subjective. It doesn't imply that you would die without it.

What you are talking, about is "Physiological needs" like air/food/water. Those are requirements for survival.

we are not athiest..we pray to God, perform all rituals during festival..I have a strong belief in My Bhagwan and WaheGuru but you will hardly meet any indian bringing religion and God everywhere !! it may surprise Pakistanis that we do not bring our God in each and every silly discussion like Muslims bring Allah every where and hence give them illusion that we are moving away from our religion...

Gods in plural sense is what you believe in- there is a God for you for each era- You claim to worship one God but its not a secret that you have ram, vishnu many other male gods asell as female ones sita, kali etc- You think we bring Allah into every discussion about religion is because we believe in only him to be the true Almighty Allah-

Most of the Indians who have athiest idealogy know Ramayana and Mahabharata very well and celbrate Diwali, Holi with fresh enthusiasm every year but they do not believe in preaching religion everywhere and becoming God's messenger. Iam a follower of God and a big supporter of Atheism !!

Not True. Whatever is there in Vedas are True. But It's not about that. There are moral and ethic value in every such thing. Thousand years back, what was told still makes important aspect of life. For example, Bhagavad Gita is all about some 5,500-6,000 years back Lord Krishna. It doesn't matter what happened in detail. it's all about 1,000's of moral value and ethics that was taught since 1,000 of years.

Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism and Jainism are more based on "Way of Life". In India, 25% Hindus don't go to Temple or follow any rituals. But it's not needed. You don't need to follow any ritual to be called Hindu. A person can follow Atheism but still can remain Hindu forever. One need to understand the religion to say it's true meaning.

According to us a God is "He begetteth not nor is He begotten" when you think of anchient hindu gods with harem of earthly women and children- even fighting for each others wife" you feel that its charactertistics of us mortal beings which needs and desires (sexual/nonsexual)- the more you know about it (get educated) the more you start to relate hinduism to athiesim-
