Equipment Piece of the Week: Soldier Plate Carrier System (SPCS) – PEO SOLDIER LIVE

SPCS cannot provide ballistic protection without it's plates.It has not soft armour panels.

I hope DMSRDE develops a modular plate carrier which can have the option of adding soft armour panels, hard armour panels, both or just to be used as an assault vest.With modular addons like neck, deltoid and groin protection as well as MOLLE webbing so as to attach various accessories.
