What's new

Dishonesty about Indian technological development

Of course not! You'd be buying, at the very minimum, 3+ year old 'JDM' Made-in-India Balenos. Give it some time; brand new cars aren't your thing.

Ah - proud of copying 3rd rate 90's Suzuki designs (itself a 3rd tier Japanese marque).

But then again part of your 'manufacturing' tradition.

Copying 3rd rate WEIRD (WEIRD!+CHEAP!) German design (Tempo Hanseat DreiRad) from WWII and running them until say the 1990's.....these people below are vying for people per vehicle award....:-)

This is a bit more perverse...EWWW.....put that bonnet back on, people can see......

Or how about this pinnacle of 50's Italian tech (Piaggio) being run in the 2010's, I guess 'fitness' really doesn't apply. I know it's pretty bad in Bangladesh too, but not *this* bad.... Piaggio would cry.....seeing how many people got stuffed into this thing......

Haha just when I thought you couldn't outdo yourself! After being told your worth, you whine and moan out of sheer frustration!

Copying? Lol the Baleno, among others, is a global model designed and made in India for world markets. I'm no Suzuki fanboy, but at least speak sense will you?

That's a new, expected low from you. Pick and choose all you like... the fact is that you and I both know you're an intellectually dishonest peddler of lies, and the LDC country you're from, is... well... you know.

The new one.

The old classic which I own is almost 100% Japanese. And runs like it!

12 years now.

Cheers, Doc

Yeah that was a peppy little motor wasn't it?

And gearbox. Shod on alloys and Bridgestone Potenza GIIIs and an aftermarket spoiler (much better looking than the OE one on the VX). Just love her.

Except for the ground clearance and the yellowing headlights, she's still my car of choice if I want some fun in the hills.

Cheers, Doc

You want humor? Okay there you go - India is a "nation" that aspires to be a "Super Power"! :)

Is that what your neighbourhood dhakadrassah teaches you? At least they know who their real master is and will forever be!

Maybe if you had a real education, you'd know that to be aspirational, is a good thing. LDC denizens wouldn't have a clue, though.

India is a huge country with 1.4 billion mouths. Even if 1% of the population, makes it a lucrative market. As a result many western companies or in some cased Indian companies bring technology to India to sell. Its nothing to do with Indian capability or invention.
Sure, incapable Indians farted from mouths & and were pushed 16 ranks up in Global Innovation Index.
You know stats speak louder than your mouth and your feel important syndrome, earlier over Pakistanis, now with Bangladeshis.

World Intellectual Property Indicators, India ranks 14th in filing patents, 6th in marks and 13th in designs. (Residents or NRIs).
http://www.wipo.int/edocs/pubdocs/en/wipo_pub_941_2016.pdf
India has filed 45,658 IPR & patents against Pakistani 886 and Bangladesh with 340 patent applications.
Similar to any upper middle income economy and at least 20-40 times higher than any other third world country in per capita terms which's enough to tell about where India's R&D budget goes.

And for futile arguments by other Pakistani on forum that you are behind just because lack of patent offices,
PATENT COUNTS BY ORIGIN AND TYPE, CY 2015

Patents granted by the United States for the year 2015.

1. U.S. 155,982 patents
2. Japan 54,422

3. South Korea 20,201
4. Germany 17,752
5. Taiwan 12,575
6. China 9,004
7. Canada 7,492
8. U.K. 7,167
9. France 7,026
10. Israel 3,804
11. India 3,415
12. Italy 3,090
...
Singapore 1,048

Bangladesh 2

Pakis 16

Sri Lanka 7

Or I say an average Indian with equal facilities and opportunities is 267 times more innovative than an average chest thumping Bangladeshi with nearly no contribution to International IPRs, no R&D, yet comparing it's model to Taiwan & Korea.
If you want to know the Indian capability then you can just look at their Kaveri engine or Bhramos missile.
Can we look at your scooter engines? Or ya do need ToT from Japan from that too?
Kaveri is failed as it took Indian input in it
I will hail if Bangladesh can even make 10% of Kaveri.

Seriously, you guys even do know about basics of turbofans, turboshafts, turboprops or turbojets?

Can you make a single crystal nickel based superalloy for your engine blades? Or you guys are able to counter thermal creep and hot corrosion that you are calling India failed? Or even you guys have ever designed such an engine, leave alone realising it like Kaveri? We achieved 81.8kN thrust from Kaveri (against required 95kN) enough to drive a small plane and have a successful engine 25kN for trainers. Does BD have a 10kN turbofan?
whereas Bhramos is a success, as it is a Russian missile with Indian logo in it.
India's dual phase motors, pneumatic actuation systems, navigators, commands, arms for motors etc and newly made IR seekers, can you even define one of them?
Ah - proud of copying 3rd rate 90's Suzuki designs (itself a 3rd tier Japanese marque).
Yah, we were copying designs, that's why our own companies after breaking tie ups launch dozens of designs at a fraction of cost an year, pushing em out. If they would have stole IPR, before foreign company sewing them, Indians wouldn't have bought em.

You know what's meaning of R&D and designing.

.
They will remain upset forever due to their humiliating history you know. Perennial inferiority complex syndrome has no cure. ;)

in all honesty all the the world except western european suffer this complex. North korea is exception they are proud of them selves.
