I’m using the platforms I have available to push what I believe is a pro-Pakistan agenda.

The buying and selling of politicians, in league with a US conspiracy to install a corrupt PDM regime after overthrowing an elected government NOT is pro-Pakistan. Allowing this corrupt regime to rig elections by overturning election reforms for EVM’s & overseas Pakistani voting rights is NOT pro-Pakistan.

And if I believe some of the senior Army leadership (not the entire institution or even the entire Army leadership) is involved in this conspiracy that will cause incalculable damage to Pakistan, then I will call them out for it and encourage others to do the same.

Here’s the amendment introduced by Niazi government.

On Wednesday, the NA Standing Committee on Interior approved the bill to make amendments to the Pakistan Penal Code and Code of Criminal Procedure 1898 to take action against those who intentionally ridicule armed forces.

The bill, titled Criminal Law Amendment Bill 2020 and introduced by PTI MNA Amjid Ali Khan, was approved by the NA committee during its meeting chaired by MNA Raja Khurram Nawaz.

The bill proposes an amendment to Section 500 of the PPC, which currently states: “Whoever defames another shall be punished with simple imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.”

The amendment, which will be called Section 500-A, states: “Punishment for intentional ridiculing of the Armed Forces etc. Whosoever intentionally ridicules, brings into disrepute or defames the Armed Forces of Pakistan or a member thereof, he shall be guilty of an offence punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years, or fine which may extend to five hundred thousand rupees, or with both.”

In light of this amendment Section 500-A, institutions are working well within legal, ethical and professional boundaries to neutralise these people.

The point to note is both CGS and DG ISI were appointed when the conspiracy began late 2021. Speaks volume how transfers and promotions are done in Pakistan army.

No merit what so ever and people were saying here these were the best choices.

This is shameful at so many levels.

When Bajwa is COAS for 6 years, he can easily surround himself with yes-men. In his tenure, a lot of 3-star generals retired, who were replaced with his boot-lickers. Furthermore, he gave promotion to around 30 men from Full Colonel to Brigadier on the basis of loyalty to Bajwa doctrine.

My solution:
1) For a period of 20 years, in order to de-politicize the military, the post of COAS should be limited to 3 years ONLY. The Prime Minister can only give extension if the country is at war. The status of being "at war" would be given by the supreme court.
2) For a period of 20 years, the senior most 3-star general will AUTOMATICALLY become the COAS. Just like how the senior-most judge automatically becomes the Chief Justice of Pakistan.
