Difference B/W Chinese Flankers and indian flankers

Are you serious men you think china is going to pay top dollar for inferior tech ,Chinese are out smarting us by taking the know how and locally manufacturing in their country.

Money is not important, if you don't have all arms on offer. China didn't get Bars PESA radar, TVN on AL 31 or RD93 engines, don't have acces to the Su 35BM and the S117 engines so far. The same is the case with Pakistan and western countries as well, PAFs F16s comes with puls doppler radars, AIM 9M and AIM120 C5, while India had the chance to get AESA radars, AIM 9X and AIM 120D.
Also take the Gulf countries as an example, they have more than enough money, but can't get US stand off or cruise missiles, even Paveway IV LGBs were denied, not to mention stealth fighters.

Why china need to buy arms when he can manufacture locally ,china don't care about PESA radar when it can make AESA radar
china is the only country that is working on 2 stealth aircraft J-20 and J-31 .

China recently launched and is being called the Type 52D. It appears very similar to the American Aegis equipped destroyers (especially the Burke Class).

China lauch it own baidu satellite system and own space station .
Baidu Map Now Supports Satellite View, Looks More Clear Than Google’s | TechNode

anti satelite weapons

they are making frigate destroyer and submarine Like making cokies

If you consider china a thread then we have to work on war footing and i don't care of Gulf .

the draw back of buying ready made weapon is for example we rejected US F-16 and F-18 and went for Rafale the result was
Pakistan got Brand New F-16 block 50-52 with 500 AIm 120 C5.

China knows how to Steal and reverse engineering and country like germany, france and israel are helping it under the table because of sanction

this just some of example of china success in indigenous program and now compare it to us.

America Copy rocket technology from germany

Everyone copied rocket technology from India. Check the Mysorean rockets. They were the first ^^

Spread of rocket technology

Rocket technology first became known to Europeans following its use by the Mongols Genghis Khan and Ögedei Khan when they conquered parts of Russia, Eastern, and Central Europe. The Mongolians had acquired the Chinese technology by conquest of the northern part of China and by the subsequent employment of Chinese rocketry experts as mercenaries for the Mongol military. Reports of the Battle of Mohi in the year 1241 describe the use of rocket-like weapons by the Mongols against the Magyars.[7] Rocket technology also spread to Korea, with the 15th century wheeled hwacha that would launch singijeon rockets. Additionally, the spread of rockets into Europe was also influenced by the Ottomans at the siege of Constantinople in 1453, although it is very likely that the Ottomans themselves were influenced by the Mongol invasions of the previous few centuries. In their history of rockets published on the Internet, NASA says "Rockets appear in Arab literature in 1258 A.D., describing Mongol invaders' use of them on February 15 to capture the city of Baghdad."[7]

hmmm didnt know that ^^

China has only Russian tech that too scaled down whereas we have fusion of Indian, Russian, Israeli and Western technology….let them come face to face in air…they will be shot down like mosquito…

. .
It was actually the other way around :

If couldn't find it, third paragraph on left side of the page.

India’s buy of the Su-30MKI triggered a response in Beijing the PLAAF ordered around 50 Su-30MKK fighters from KNAAPO.

Very humble of you! :D

That's Bullsh1t, When we induced Su-27k, you indians still flied the short leg Mig-29....so in response to Su-27k, India bought the Su-30Mki...you just don't know what you talk about.

.
those are suicide bombers...

Pilotless aircraft...ring a bell??? we can remotely control these airplanes with bombs and fly to India in case of war..you just pray that the one shoot down don't fall into your house

China has only Russian tech that too scaled down whereas we have fusion of Indian, Russian, Israeli and Western technology….let them come face to face in air…they will be shot down like mosquito…

Having foreign assistance for technologies upgraded of your Flankers mean our Flankers are obsolete??? We will look forward that day in Air-air combat with Indian airforce...for now try to comfort yourself with mosuito bite :D

. .
Flankers are Russian indeed we have not claim the contrary, that doesn't prevent us to modify as how we want its to be

Ummm.....You mean paint it in a different color? o_O

Look frankly speaking, there is lots of pseudo intellectual bullshit here. Yes, we cant say for sure if Chinese tech is superior, or inferior. But you have to take into consideration certain key factors:

1. Air combat experience.
2. Battle proven technologies

When did the Chinese air force fire a shot in anger against a worthy adversary? Never.
When was Chinese tech proven in battle successfully, and did the Chinese ever improve from any battle tested failures? Never.

Your strength is unfortunately only in numbers and on paper. Not sure without war and without training with other countries, especially the more battle trained western nations, how much you would actually be betteR?

I'll give you a small example. Pakistan will generally not be considered as good as the Israeli air force. But this is a false presumption. What happened during the Yom Kippur war and the Six day war when pakistan sent some of its airmen down there? They shot down 14 or 15 aircraft, without losing one of their own. BECAUSE they were more battle trained fighting against India.

So you cannot just judge by paper figures and paper technology.

Why china need to buy arms when he can manufacture locally

Because manufacturing is not developing! They can manufacture in an impressive way, but are still far behind the west and Russia in terms of R&D. That's why J11A might look like a Flanker, but is technically not on par with the Su 30 MKI or the Su 35. That's why their stealth fighter designs looks like Russian and US once, but are technically not on par either.
That's why their current puls doppler radars, avionics and missiles are not on par with Russias and US s most advanced counterparts, why they need to copy even missile, why helicopters like Z8 and Z9 are licence production version of French helicopters, why they use and still procure more Mi 17s in high numbers just as we are...
So when they only have access to limited foreign stuff and they are still not on par in terms of R&D, their only option to improve their forces and their indigenous industry is to spend huge ammount of money and reverse engineering!

India has the same aim of improving the forces and the indigenous industry, but is following a different way to get their. India can procure anykind of weapon and techs, but MoD also realised how important licence productions under ToT, offsets, JV s and co-developments are, because our indigenous industry is still only at the begining. That's why we procure most advanced foreign techs, with the maximum ammount of advantages for our industry (MMRCAs, LUH, LDPs...), while we push our industry to JV s and co-developments with foreign companies (Samtel JV with Thales, FICV privat JV s, Brahmos, FGFA, MTA, Barak 8, Maitri SAM...). Only in addition to that, we add specialised foreign arms to increase the capability of our forces (C130J-30, P8I, or Nerpa SSN...).

I have no doubt that China will surpass Russia and several western countries in R&D soon too, but the current situation of their forces and industry is not equal at all.
India has an even longer way to go, but the forces benefit a lot from the access to foreign arms today, just like our industry will catch up faster with foreign help.
