is it stuttering or lisping ? both are often confused for other. Shuttering can be controlled.. lisping depends on many things.
Genes should not be a factor but i ma no expert.
better consult a speech therapist.

Yes , my stuttering also decreased with age .

Suttering is a tension man , a headache even our prophet musa a.s stuttered .

normally shuttering is in brain. we get too much excited sometimes due to many factors. resulting in not able to breadth and speak simultaneously resulting in shuttering.

He stutters at both but mostly at complex words .
He's very less talkative and will avoid too much talking .
