Why people should be asking silly question about our independence from a semi-colonial power called (west) Pakistan. I wonder why only our Talibans ask this stupid question? They should better ask the Europeans if they feel they are independent after the USA helped them oust Hitler's Germany? It would be a good parallel. Sunni Talibans, please ask this question to them an d you guys will get the correct answer for BD independence war, too. .

There would be some similarity like there would be some similarity between iran and iraq. But there is one small difference - Indian Punjab is Sikh and Hindu dominated whereas Pakistan was created for Muslims/Muslim dominated areas. There are many other reasons. This would mean that 2 can never unite.
Same is the case with West Bengal and Bangladesh.
India does not have any strong influence over Bangaldesh. Hate mongers are in great numbers here and would instigate based on religion and hatered taught to them from childhood.
Bangladesh is better than Pakistan in HDI and has no reasn to merge with either Pakistan or India. It should just safeguard itself against extremism.

The fact is that they are using our culture and language but later they got forced converted and kept on practicing our traditions and now they are telling us to join them.WHY?I will never in my wildest dream think about joining pakistan.

P.s -I'm an Indian sikh and millions of us sikhs love our country,we all have bright future ahead of us in our country.So stop spreading bullshivik about us that we want to join you and all your imaginary wet dreams.

Welcome to the forum.

Indians will never annex Bangladesh with its 150 million Muslims which will grow to 250 million in 2100 AD. The only scenario where it can happen is if Bangladeshi's give up Islam and become Hindu again, which is not likely. They do not want more Muslims making their Muslim minority a more powerful group. If possible they want to push-in all 30-40 million Bengali Muslims in India calling them illegal migrants.

What they want instead is keep their agents running the show in a vassal state or occupied colony, whatever we may call it and suck it dry economically, using it as a captive market for Indian products and services, keep it weak using water terrorism and keep people's health weak with drugs like phensydil, yaba etd. and poisonous chemicals like formalin, pesticides etc. where most people go to India for health services and eventually die of cancer and other complications.

So while Awami associated people make money and move it out of Bangladesh in overseas safe haven, illegal Indians and Bangaldeshi Hindu's have already taken over many sectors and will slowly take over all sectors of economy so they can remit the money they make to India.
