Thread is getting interesting. Alash! I have not enough expertise to contribute on the matter.
Still njoying the heated arguments & sarcastic replies.

:welcome: :cheers:

We are wise in restraint at this point.
A decade of growth will make as a 3-3.5 trillion economy,,then time will be right.Anyways pakistan is not capable of growth more than 5%.

I am NOT a war monger

But to suggest that our Army is not having offensive doctrines is ridiculous

Organizationally, the Armed forces have never been static.

Reorganization and creation of new field forces is the norm, prompted by constant rethinking on threats and the emergence of new technology.

To put it simply, if our formations are basically triangular, there is no bar on making them square or pentagonal for a given mission.

@OrionHunter @levina

If we dont have any offensive doctrines then why do we hold Regular exercises
who told you that regular exercises means offensive doctrine??
And there's a difference between coming up with a doctrine and executing it... dont you think we would've fought many more wars than we already have if we had such offensive doctrine??

Wars are best fought on enemy territory hence the need for offensive doctrines
and how may times have we fought on their territory???

We are simply unwilling to take the collateral damage,,,which is fair
