Did India help US in Osama Bin Laden raid? US Navy SEAL reveals

Of course we did.
Remember just a day before Osama was killed,Manmohan Singh postponed his trip to Afghanistan.

Acc. to B Raman on Reddif India may have shared weaknesses of Pakistan air defences in LOC with USA.
Also there was a news report in the media(Google it) a few days after OBL raid that RAW Gave info to USA in 2007-08 that OBL was hiding in a city close to Islamabad and Zawahiri bisited Karachi once for treatment.CIA started tracking OBL's courier in 2008.

Really? You guys don't have anything to do but just waste pages with worthless 'the great India' crap?

I am glad, some of you have some common sense. One, you THINK that Mr. Owen would ACTUALLY show you the real map of how they egress and ingress Pakistan? Uncle SAM would have come to get him as that would be revealing national security related details.

Second, if India had ANY relation to this, TRUST me, Pakistanis would've backed out of the WOT. The six month drama of closing borders, might've become permanent. The leadership in the US knows how sensitive Pakistan and India are about each other. Those guys are extremely smart and they would never make silly mistakes like these.

Last, if India 'provided' the US with a way in or out (as someone proudly suggested) with certain 'weaknesses in tracking or defenseless areas' ......how come the same 'weak areas' were never used for over 20 times when both of y'all went to war (almost)?? Wouldn't the same weak areas have helped India in pre-emptve strikes (many times) without getting detected?
Let's wakey wakey, it was JUST a dream. Moma is making milk and cereal for you. Cereal was made out of Rice.

Dude 1st of all it was a fake raid,Osama died long back before operation due to sickness,Why would have India helped a fake encounter, stop your conspiracy theories.

And how do you know it is fake raid? I guess CIA gave you access to documents that the guy who wrote the book doesn't have. :P

Yeah yeah....:P

The US would not, will not and will never 'share' anything with India at this level when it comes to dealing with Pakistan, and vs-a-vs. The leadership in Washington knows how sensitive both of y'all are towards each other

This raises some obvious questions including:

Did the Indian Government comply with the US to provide alternative route for attacking Osama bin Laden?

Did India provide intelligence inputs to carry out Operation Neptune Spear?

If at all India granted permission to use its airspace station, under what condition the permission was granted?

Also, did India provide US an alternative rout back into Pakistan after the operation was completed?

Was India informed about the Operation Neptune Spear with its real motive or it was a cover story?

“It’s important to note at this point that this discussion is based on a single low-detail graphic from an account that was neither vetted nor confirmed by the US Government. At no point in the text of No Easy Day is the route to Abbottabad discussed (as opposed to the return trip, which is dealt with in some detail); in fact, Owen writes, most of the team slept on the way in,” reports RedState.

Further, Owen’s map appears to define Pakistan’s eastern border as the western boundary of Kashmir, the disputed territory that is bisected into Pakistani- and Indian-administered territories by the Line of Control, established in 1972, and it is difficult to tell whether the image was intended to show that the helicopters’ route crossed the LOC.

However, the route appears to take the Americans in the vicinity of Uri, in Indian territory, says the report in RedState.

It certainly isn’t beyond the realm of possibility that India, which has been called a “key ally in the fight against global terrorism,” would have provided assistance to the United States.

Did India see enough opportunity in Operation Neptune Spear that it provided access both to airspace and to sensitive intelligence on Pakistani air defenses and infiltration routes?

One simple map in No Easy Day certainly raises some interesting questions about Indian involvement in the most famous raid of the war on terror, and while we may never know the answers for certain, they are certainly worth asking, says RedState report.

After all, who knows whether the next unauthorized disclosure about the bin Laden raid might provide some answers about that very subject.

Is this journalist asking me questions? Should I call up someone in pentagon and south block and clarify his doubts.
I have a strong urge to limit the number of newspapers and number of TV NEWS channels based on quality. Back to my shell.

:sniper: There is no possibility of Even a Stealth Drone Crossing the LOC as shown on that Map. LOC and LAC are the Most Extensively and sophisticatedly Monitored Borders in the World. P.S if Pakistan every found out India's Involvement It would be catastrophic for all three INDIA PAKISTAN AND USA

During the Earthquake of 2005 in Kashmir, US airforce and Army came to the Rescue from Afghanistan the same route as described by the official Pentagon report, they flew back and forth for 3 months on that route and others in Kashmir and Pakhtonkhwa province of Pakistan. may be that gave them an advantage As well. who knows they could be Mapping and testing for Loop holes in the Radar and AA facilities on the way. They do have the Means you know the USA.:meeting:

India should try to help herself..... does the name dawood ibrahim .... ring any bell?

Lets suppose IF we did help, from this or any other route,

I think India helped itself in a VERY big way. Consider the backing India will get against Pakistan on terrorist acts from around the world as now every country knows OBL was in Pakistan and it won't take them any longer to back Indian claim of Pakistan backed terrorism considering most of the people will consider Pakistan the haven for terrorists.

Years of reporting Pakistan backed terrorism won't come any closer than effect of OBL raid.

No one will care to find out the actual truth. at least the people of Western countries.
