This is the diary of a German soldier who participated in Operation "Barbarossa" from the very beginning. In it, he recorded the kilometers traveled by his unit, as well as described the battles in which he participated.

I don't pay attention to such easily falsifable documents.

Read the book The Forgotten Soldier by Guy Sajer. Great book!

In staff course, ops Barbarossa was assigned to a family member of mine for full analysis.

Quit difficult to assume that whole diary/doc is falsified by Soviets or anyone.

An interesting read, nevertheless... :)

I suggest reading from the actual German authors such as Ernst Junger

a lot of the notes are not believable.
Walking 35 km with your battle gear -- even a fit soldier would be tired for a day after that

Have a nice after-life.
