Developments and Turkish operations in Libya

When you hide ammunition in food trucks but uncle Bayraktar TB2 doesn't give a f***

Hafter, the joke himself, declared a ceasefire today. GNA answered by heavily attacking him in south Tripoli and Tarhuna.

In addition, reports suggest that the first Anka-S was delivered to GNA. We should expect some deep strikes into Haftar territory in the coming days. :sniper:

Keep making the BS.

French fighters over Misrata? – ItaMilRadar

The number of aircrafts engaged should tell you it's BS already.

BTW,bad news for Turkey ; @Nein @GlobalMillitary96

EU’s Libya naval mission to begin work ‘within days’

https://www.euractiv.com/section/gl...libya-naval-mission-to-begin-work-within-day/

The mission will be commanded by an Italian admiral,Fabio Agostini assisted by the French admiral Jean-Michel Martinet.
The news are probably fake that’s why I highlighted the words
You can operate as much as you want ships or aircraft but as long as turkish F-16 escort turkish military cargo planes your naval mission is a paper tiger
Should I remind you that Turkey is delivering weapons thanks to a legal agreement BETWEEN TWO GOVERNMENTS that everyone can see it’s published in 10th December 2019
So turkish weapons delivery will continue unless France poor Greece or other states are prepared to down turkish planes of course this will have repercussions that US won’t allow because besides obvious turkish military retaliation we can also expect that NATO will be effectively paralyzed with vetoes (political retaliation) this is far-fetched unexpected scenario but if France/poor Greece wants to cross redlines they will get the response
So far Greece despite being heavily challenged in the last two years in east mediterranean refrained from making stupid decisions I expect the same attitude with this irini pirini whatever the name of the operation only problem could be lunatic macron who has became even more unpopular among french people so I couldn’t exclude his crazy adventure to save his failed political career
Libyan interior minister:
Libyan ministry of foreign affairs:
pretty much arrogant and pathetic answer from french ministry of foreign affairs as if they need to ask the defense ministry of another country hahahahah

I don’t understand why ukraine is transporting militia like this. Perhaps Libya should invest a few billions to target uae oilfields to keep them busy.

I can’t understand that it would be inukraines interest to support wagnar, russia in the libya campagn

Too many of these flights. Need to control that airspace.

That Ukrainian plane is most probably a civilian one, UAE might have rented the plane. But you're right, the Ukrainian goverment should do something about it. After all, it's not a problem; we've destroyed planes on the ground before :-)

Actually, now that I think about it, these Il-76s were Ukrainian too :what:

Yes this planes were Ukrainian... They were Smuggling arms to Haftar that's why We bombed them with Bayraktar TB2s... I remember this...
An Ukrainian pilot died as far as I remember... Ukraine didn't react... I believe they were aware of their mistake... Oh, well... it was tragic and to be sure not to repeat this tragedy Ukraine should do something about her private companies...

@Saithan , if you have seen the movie “Lord of War” with Nicolas Cage you will understand why Ukrainians do it. I advice you to watch it it’s a very interesting movie that shows much of the reality of weapons trade on the “black” market.

To Ukrainians it’s all just business and a way to win some fast money for their companies businessmen and politicians connected to it. That’s the case in most ex- Soviet and ex- Communist states too- they are ready to supply any side in Africa, Latin America or the Middle East as long as they pay well.
I am from Bulgaria and can tell you many stories from the past from now about the arms trade and the billions Bulgarian companies have made with from the Middle East and Africa etc. It’s far away from us so who cares- just give me the green papers. :D

Lord of war is a great movie it is also underrated.

Crazy how far flung the arms trade is around the world. A lot of the firearm companies do the trade too except they get some merc do it so they can cover their tracks.

@Ansu fati

No official statement from France yet.

The news seems to be entire BS,maybe even disinformation. How could the GNA detect those aircrafts, the type of aircrafts and the fact that they were French ?

The presence of a French tanker over Libya seems unlikely considering this type of aircraft has always remained over the international space above the mediterranean, this type of aircraft isn't even intended to fly over risky areas,so they remain in good distance. And no French tanker movement has been spotted near Libya or even in the mediterranean.

Let's assume this news is true, don't forget Egypt has also Rafales and the UAE have air refuelling capabilities, both countries supports of Haftar.

I’ve watched that movie quite a few times. But it’s been a while. Love the last scene where he tells the fbi that he’s going to be set free and paid on top of it.

I imagine no one would complain over the downing of those airplanes in the air. So why hasn’t GNA made an effort. Is it because they don’t have missiles to do so ?

Turkish navy is stationed there and also there are ADS systems installed in Tripoli and Misrata this is my prediction how they managed to spot rafale of course I should add that multiple misratans on twitter said that they have heard fighter jet sounds
What exactly happened I can’t tell neither you can but it’s interesting that after whole year of being mute about presence of foreign fighter jet even some of them did warcrimes when migration detention facilities were bombed GNA finally got the courage to confront some states that back dictator while pretending to care about demo(n)cracy
