Its resides only in description not in RC model
Every aircraft who posses sophistic radar can detect them but from very low distance compare to other aircraft. Suppose this aircraft is stealth & F-18 could detect it from 50 km then how can it lock F-18 without sophistic radar & EW suite.
If making AESA radar of ground & naval application give a point that they can make AESA for fighter aircraft then more than 20 countries posses this technology. Currently only USA has mature technology of AESA for fighter jet.
Yes they cannot jammed radar from 1000 km distance but who can shoot aircraft from 1000 km.
In the opening ceremony the general says clearly that it has weapon bays, go to any video of the unveiling ceremony.
The F-18 can not detect it at any distance, but in visual range when it has already fired its missiles, that is the fact about small and stealth, if you understand the combination , you will figure out that it is deadliest than F-22 or F-35 in short range combat. The other thing is, it does not have to lock the F-17 with its own radar or it might use passive radar, it will be very complicated to explain here, but think about cruise missile technology and how they can hit a moving target, think also about coordinates inputed in a high speed computer.
In case of war the AWACS are first priority targets for long range air defence systems, as soon as the hostilities begin.
Russia and China too have some mature technologies of the AESA tech, Iran is one of the best in nano-technologies, so it might be easy for them to miniaturise and use innovative technologies for an AESA or AESA-like radars.
if the F-18 is detected let's say from 1000 km, than it can be tracked all this distance until it is in range to be destroyed, the worst part of it is that it has to deal with other aircrafts and air defences mostly, the Qher-313 is just another worry for American or any one who wants to attack Iran, it is a value plus deterrent.
