Its resides only in description not in RC model

Every aircraft who posses sophistic radar can detect them but from very low distance compare to other aircraft. Suppose this aircraft is stealth & F-18 could detect it from 50 km then how can it lock F-18 without sophistic radar & EW suite.
If making AESA radar of ground & naval application give a point that they can make AESA for fighter aircraft then more than 20 countries posses this technology. Currently only USA has mature technology of AESA for fighter jet.

Yes they cannot jammed radar from 1000 km distance but who can shoot aircraft from 1000 km.

In the opening ceremony the general says clearly that it has weapon bays, go to any video of the unveiling ceremony.
The F-18 can not detect it at any distance, but in visual range when it has already fired its missiles, that is the fact about small and stealth, if you understand the combination , you will figure out that it is deadliest than F-22 or F-35 in short range combat. The other thing is, it does not have to lock the F-17 with its own radar or it might use passive radar, it will be very complicated to explain here, but think about cruise missile technology and how they can hit a moving target, think also about coordinates inputed in a high speed computer.
In case of war the AWACS are first priority targets for long range air defence systems, as soon as the hostilities begin.

Russia and China too have some mature technologies of the AESA tech, Iran is one of the best in nano-technologies, so it might be easy for them to miniaturise and use innovative technologies for an AESA or AESA-like radars.

if the F-18 is detected let's say from 1000 km, than it can be tracked all this distance until it is in range to be destroyed, the worst part of it is that it has to deal with other aircrafts and air defences mostly, the Qher-313 is just another worry for American or any one who wants to attack Iran, it is a value plus deterrent.

General say about weapon bay without showing it physically in opening ceremony, strange:coffee:
First time I hear that a sophistic radar can't tracked, I think this opinion you make after watching movie 'stealth'.

How could it would shot it without locking, with canon. How much it is complicated to explain.
First time I hear that someone want to use cruise missile to shoot a aircraft but how can it will shoot without lock it on radar & how can this small size stealth aircraft carry a cruise missile in its so called internal weapon bay.

Which nation AESA radar of fighter jet is operational except US.

Kindly give me examples of Iran innovation in nano technology.

Which of your radar can detect a aircraft from 1000 km away & only detection give you a guarantee to shoot it..
I think only aircraft is capable to challenge them is your F-4 Tomcat but without latest EW suite it does not give insurance to shoot them.

Dont forget Iran now has an early warning radar with the range of 4000 KM as well.

you should know, unlike F-35 and F-22 ,Qaher has the intakes above the wing indicating that it has a large space in the bottom side.notice that Qaher's length is 14 to 15 metres and and that of F-35 is 16.one or two metres diffrence!!!

Can you give the source that which radar you posses which can track 4000 km area even US does not posses such highly advance radar.

Its lower portion would be conjusted with fuel tank, gearbox, APU etc.

You compare it with F-35 in only length not in height & width.

My friend,please search OTH radars....

US,Russia,China, france,Australia and Iran have such radars.that of USA has range of 4800 KM.

Again in case of width,There is not much diffrence between F-35 and F-313.again I should remind you that according to Iranian experts,F-313 can carry two 2000 pounds bombs or six medium range AtoA missiles.

1) I have gone through the video, all i saw was the landing gear bay open and close (in the 3D CAD models). I have not seen any videos or photos of the weapons bay, yet.

2) F-18 cannot detect it at any distance? Are you pulling assumptions out of your back? Anything that has a mass and size can be detected on radar. Atleast the current material sciences technology we possess does not allow one to become completely invisible on radar. @gambit @Oscar or @Penguin can better explain this.

3) What is locking with passive radar? And how does it not show up on ECM suites? I am really ignorant about that so please do explain. And Cruise missiles also need to actively monitor their target once they get close to it.

4) What long range air defence systems are present that can take down an AWACS with out the delivery system getting within range of the AWACS and its escort?

5) What has nano technology to do with miniaturizing AESA radars? Please explain.

6) Suppose F-18 gets detected at 1000 kms, then what? Like I said earlier in the post, what delivery systems are present to get within striking range of the F-18 and not get detected by its fellow strike package? If an F-18 is on its way to Iran, it will be accompanied by aerial monitoring assets, AWACS, drones etc. And most definitely included in the strike package will be a Growler. Please do read about it and its capabilities.

I am not downplaying Iran or her technology, just the ridiculous statements some fan boys make.

please use correct English because either you type too quick without reviewing or you English is bad.

Actually Mr Hindu, do you expect nations to show you their secrets, it is not enough that they have told you. I have seen it in videos, if you are blind ask some of your friends to see it for you.
First time you have see Qaher-313 too, so please keep your remarks about movies for yourself, I am not a science fiction fan.
Actually it is very complicated to explain, I asked you to think about the technology behind the cruise missiles not the cruise missiles themselves, but you do not seem to understand subtility.
I will stop here since you lack any soundness in military affairs by confusing F-4s and F-14s, for the other questions of yours I have already answered you.
So please quit trolling...

A very old Arabic proverb says: the answer to an ignorant person is to ignore him.
No other comments, this is a military forum, you should understand you and your panel of wiki experts that real military experts are not sitting here to explain to you the technologies or the secrets of military hardware and software.

Should not have expected more than this from you. Since you cannot back up even a single claim, you resort to such statements and weasel yourself out of answering my questions. Bravo!!!!!

1)3D CAD models are great, you can make anything in 3D and it will show it should work in theory.

2) For that Iran would either have already made research into what is active material cancellation. so called smart materials that literally know how to eat up radar waves. Otherwise, as soon as its reflected energy exceeds that of the background.. the F-18 will pick this aircraft up.

3)From the mockup it seems all the aircraft carries is a Chinese knockoff of a pioneer car LCD(with 6 CD changer capability). So if an incoming aircraft is not emitting much at all, the Passive sensor wont pick much up. You may lock something up with a passive sensor( If you know where the emissions are coming from). There are the good old ground based passive detection systems such s the much touted Czech Vera system. However Lockheed Martin has something like this available but I seriously doubt that Iran could come up with this when their mockups still sport car audio electronics.
http://servv89pn0aj.sn.sourcedns.com/~gbpprorg/mil/radar/sentry.pdf
However, even this requires certain backup from active emitting sources to truly get an accurate fix. And if there is already heavy jamming involved with enough trons to simply block out such passive sensors. I wonder how accurate any guidance would be in such a scenario.

4) No idea what particular long range air defense systems Iran possesses that are capable of knocking down an AWACS operating a hundred miles outside of its airspace. Not even the much touted FD-2000 Passive emitter version of the HQ-9 claims such capabilities anymore. Quite simply put, any passive sensor relies on emissions. Emissions that would have to come within the threshold of a sensor to guide a missile all the way out some 200km to an area where the missile will have to use its own passive sensor to look for such an emitter and then engage. The complications for such a system going simply on passive sensing are mind boggling. @gambit

5)No idea how being able to do nano-tech makes you able of manufacturing TR modules

6) At present Iran has NOTHING to detect an F-18 out at 1000kms. Moreover , chances the F/A-18 Superhornet with its maximum mission radius at an average of 800km will be sitting on the carrier then. A strike package will have EW and SEAD support which will basically cause the screens of every radar that the Iranians have go white and telephone lines to clog up with nothing but noise. In reality, there is very little that Iran can do to match the Americans in a conventional war. Its true threat are its missiles which may be used for attacks against Israel(which the US will never allow nor can it bear since Israel will not hesitate to use its nuclear weapons unlike all other states in the world since unlike the rest of us they are not answerable to anyone). Even out of those , many will be lost to US Shipbased interceptors like the SM-3. Iran's best gamble against the US is going for a guerilla war from Day one. i.e a Guerilla war with whatever it has and specifically threatening GCC states so that their panic reflects on their support for US actions in the theater.

As for this fiberglass mockup which made Iran a joke after they claimed it is the real deal.. It will probably NEVER see the light of day just as the much more promising Shafaq did not. Iran's capabilities are best judged by the Saeqeh and any improvements on that are all that they will achieve.

There is a lot of promise in Iran but being under a sycophant ridden Mullah regime they will not be able to achieve much or anything worthy of achievement will not have political backers to actually have it see realization. Jokes like this aircraft will go through because their military is now headed by rhetoric and propaganda mostly. The brilliance that was Iran even under the puppet monster that was the Shah was still better since there was merit to a certain extent. Right now, there are still brilliant engineers in Iran.. but none of those are associated with jokes like the Qaher.

First thing you'll know, Iran will show case the mass production line of the Qaher-313.

Now, since you seem to be highly educated in warfare systems, can you please explain what are electro-ionic systems.

@Oscar, @gambit, while we are on it, I have a doubt. It would be great if you could clarify it. In post # 154 @kollang has claimed that since 313 has air intakes above the wing, there is more space for weapons bay. I have my doubts on this.

Also, I believe having the intakes above the wing root is not the best design for a fighter that is meant to engage other fighters in dog-fights. Could either of you shed more light on this?

Do we have proof that this thing even exists? Sure we got a mock up and a video of a RC plane, but do we have any real update?

Does this Airplane Fly ?

Any Videos of it actually in-flight ?

I would love to watch the video.
