hello socialist....
i am in a dilema... whats the difference between socialism, Marxism, Leninism, maoism, communism...
i want to join ur movement, but am undecided as not clear which one is best...
please explain...

i also ask @vostok to contribute to this discussion...

and please do refer to ( The Worldwide Government | Page 3 )... but do read the below...

1. communism... the ideal of a scientific ideal human-wide society where nationalism has been declared obsolete, governments have fallen, militaries have been disbanded, people rule themselves, equality of rights prevails and every person participates in the functioning... the communist society has not yet arrived... this idea goes back at least two thousand years back.

2. socialism... the scientific path to eventually achieve the communism ideal... this will be via rejecting traditional modes of society that have been propagating oppressions through money ( capitalism ), culture and family... socialism is the at-present ideology that will bring the communist future... the socialists will create an experimental society that should link up with other socialist societies to bring world communism... the socialists will use revolutionary means to replace their current society with a clearly identifiable socialist one... all modes of oppression, especially money, will be replaced or modified to educate and prepare the masses to see the advancement/progress that a true communist humanity will bring.

3. marxism... the foundational humanitarian/socialist ideas of karl marx which called for rejecting his present political and economic circumstances, and called for a new form of political system... he spoke against the oppressions of money, and of the inherent wrongs of his culture and political system which only served as agent to forward blind materialism and money worship.

4. leninism... based on lenin's understanding of the works of the progressive works of karl marx and other philosophers, using which he forwarded the creation of the first modern socialist republic, the ussr, which influenced every progressive person and group in the world.

5. maoism... the understandings by the chinese, mao tse tung, of the philosophies of marx and of the achievements of lenin, through which he reorganized the progressive among the chinese people into socialist cadres who then struggled against capitalist agendas to ultimately for the people's republic of china, the second biggest socialist state... maoism is socialism with chinese characteristics ( i am not aware of those characteristics ).

6. further notes... the only state which came close to true communism theory was the libyan jamahiriya... the ussr, china, iraq, syria, somalia, north korea etc though great forwarders of socialist became settled as one party states, in effect one party dictatorships... not the western style multi-party dictatorships based on money but dictatorships still... but in libya there was no party... the people ruled themselves through decentralized direct-democracy socialist self-governance means... but this was only the closest to true communism, not complete... complete will be when money is made obsolete for the citizens... truly complete will be when the entire humanity will become socialist.

this is what i can write now.

I don't know. I stopped watching it nearly 4 years ago. I have only seen till the death of blue haired masked guy( can't recall his name it's Grimjaw i think).... never had the patience to watch it more... Actually i'm not really a anime fan at all..But Aizen was really a interesting character i have ever seen on television.

have u read the das capital of karl marx..
where he says, revolution will be brought in by the industrial workers, but in Russian revolution of 1917 something different happened...
what do you think of it... was it appropriate..

@jamahir

i have not read das kapital... strange but true. :)

my interest in socialism started with the muslim socialist republics, especially through two leaders... saddam and muammar... i was around 15 then.

russia was, as far as i know, mostly an agricultural society for most citizens, living under serfdom of the the king and other royalty and the merchantry... there was also the military class.

germany was more industrialized than pre-revolution russia in 1800's therefore your mention of the industrial workers being the carriers of revolution... so the russian revolution was appropriate to the circumstances local to russia.

most of the definitions do fit, to the subjects....

I have never watched Naruto. They only anime i watched in full was DBZ. I started watching it when i was a kid & really enjoyed it. I don't even recall how that anime ended... The other cartoons i used to watch when i was a kid was the American ones & i really used to enjoy watching the Shaktimaan like every other kid around.. That was really a wonderful time. And i truly miss it.

u must be knowing that, idea of socialism started with karl marxs, sociological studies... he was banished from Germany, for his radical ideas. he went to England.. there he wrote das capital... most fundamental book on socialism...
he was a great thinker though...
