All the people of China and Taiwan is Chinese. So their fighter pilots defections to each other, before 1989.

And Pakistan and India are not the same nation. Only prisoners of war, no defection.

We both are too patriotic for that.

Some people are clearly too inteligent to understand this thread was about China and Taiwan, therefore comments made by Chinese about Taiwan and China cannot be claimed as 'thread hijacking'

By the way, Taiwan was and still is considered a part of China. The issue was the result of the 40-50's civil war. So yea the situation is just like Pakistan and India, the only difference is Taiwan will not be allowed to claim its independence for obvious reasons.

your 'hijack' remark is a surprise, not too unexpected, though.
@topic, the defection from both sides actually reminded the civil war is technically not ended yet which both side claim to be the gov. of the whole China.
