'Death Squads' in Swat?

Our dilemma is not what some foreign pitched local voice said, our problem is what ever is now happening in sawat should not turn into a pretext of another war, as i said previously if responsible of the incident were army personals then it could be an exception and army will ultimately look into the matter but if its revenge killings as what few gentlemen are saying (and i am agree to an extent) then its certainly precarious as it will further append up to the tense post war scenario in the area, remember it is not like that some people have conquer some other country, it is the conflict between the natives (Pakistanis) on the basis of ideology, most deaths on both sides were of Pakistanis, one should not feel happy on killings on or by either side, we have to address the root cause of the problem that why some psychopathic ignorant group of local people along with criminal element certainly arose, remember most of those so called talibs were and are still Pakistanis, what ever any one says we can not change this fact, control which has been achieved in sawat is the result of great sacrifice of the on the part of Pakistan Army and people of sawat, it is the time that we should support political will to resolve the crisis, remains of taliban should be put to trial for their hideous crimes and at the same time it is the responsibility of the security forces to strongly discourage any further law and order situation in the area or any sort of revenge killing at any level.

Hi,

Taliban deserve the justice of Amir Abdur Rahman---this time I am in favour of the punishment handed out by the muslim khalifas and the governors against any uprising against the state.

We should also follow the good christian historical example of hanging the taliban on the poles by the road side---case in example italy---or in britain---where the body was chopped up in four pieces and every piece was hung on a pole and placed in four different corners of the country---good old england---where thieves had their skins flayed from the living body---left to die on the pole and the skin filled up with hay and hung in the city street.

The writ of the state must be forced and the people who start and participate in an insurgency, made to pay with their lives and property.

Sir, that's why that era is termed as medieval, every culprit should face the justice, but their should be a difference between reaction of an individual and reaction of a state.

When the talibans did this to the local people and did the same to Pakistani Army, they did not care! and at that time Asma Jehangir was nowhere to be found, i wonder if she was dating a taliban militant at the time???:flame:

it isn't the Army. It is the locals, who are fed up of taleban. It's also the anti taleban militias, such as those led by Turkistan Bhittani. Quite frankly, a good taleban is a dead one. When the dust begins to clear, the second rate journalists and activists move in to raise hue and cry. War is never pretty. It is gruesome. Especially guerilla and psychological warfare, which often go hand in hand.

Pushtun culture dont allow any force to rule them either talaban or army or Al Qaeada , they are against all of them , they love independence and know how to protect it.
