ha ha ha...every chinese is millionaire..all have cars/
every chinese is highly qualified..ha ha.now shcihnise will be most happy..

2nd highest no of poor ppl live in china...he whole world see most of them slaved worker sin the form of cheap labour.true facts which the typical communist hide alwayz behind bejings.

few chinese r jumping since a long time since forum stated .all r posting like that u r ultimate OFFICIAL OF CHINA.we will do this and that .HA HA HA...typical opium mentality

but reality is that u cant do anything coz its not that simple that u r viewing from ur typical communist spacs.. .. u r only degrading level/standards of pdf from ur trademark trolls..

actually that's inaccurate. china has less % of people in poverty than Egypt. If we consider that some entire countries's average GDP/capita is lower than the poorest Chinese peasant (no names here, just a very large triangle shaped country in South Asia) then it seems we're doing fine. In fact the HDI of our eastern provinces is above 0.9, on a level with South Korea and some European countries. even for the rest of the provinces, it's 0.8. Only Tibet and Xinjiang have a really low HDI.

I've never said the word "will". Instead, I only use "have", which means we have already achieved it and it is documented. What WILL China do? no one knows. But what HAVE we done? full scale industrial dominance over india, complete advantage in every sector, complete military dominance in production, logistics, tactics, and most of all, the complete superiority of the average individual chinese over the average individual indian. :china::china::china:

but don't worry. india WILL, have the potential, to maybe, surpass china someday. maybe even the US, or aliens.

in australia, indians are being bashed by locals. never heard about any anti-Chinese attack. .

Because you searched on your CCP filtered Baidu.

maybe because australia supports india?

Sure they do. Take this and rub it on you face

THE AUSTRALAIN

ABOUT 17,000 people tucked into a curry at Indian restaurants across Australia yesterday to show solidarity with the Indian community as part of the Vindaloo Against Violence initiative.

The event was instigated by Melbourne web designer Mia Northrop initially as a gesture of support to Indians by urging 100 of her friends to eat at their local Indian restaurant.

But the idea soon spread with events staged nationally and even internationally.

Premier John Brumby joined Indian students for lunch at city cafe, Desi Dhaba, yesterday and the Victorian Parliament switched its menu to Indian cuisine to support the event.

''This great initiative combines [Victoria's] culinary reputation and uses it to send a message that we do not accept violence against any members of our community,'' Mr Brumby said.

While many restaurateurs The Age spoke to yesterday were grateful for the support, they all said racism towards Indians in Australia had been exaggerated.

Hundreds turned out for a Vindaloo Against Violence picnic dinner and Bollywood movie in a park at Kyneton last night with food provided by the local Dhaba at the Mill restaurant run by Jessi Singh.

don't waste your time with indian nationalists who unconditionally believe everything in india is the best.

next time when we have war with india, I would expect to see indians holding banners "please only bomb us by using Russian made fighters, not your Chinese ones".

Correct, China doesn't have any fighter aircraft solely developed in its home. Last time i remember in 1987 when PLA came to grab Arunachal pradesh, your general was made to sign ceasefire on gunpoint. Same goes for chinese sneaking attempt in sikkim in 1967.

Irrelevant blabbering sometimes causes your reputation strip naked in public.

And I guess you got the above from the failed Indian media network? I guess you're just jealous that we don't produce failed equipment such as the Tejacked and Arjunk. I mean seriously, which nation can't even make a rifle? This excludes India and its INSAS of course...

yap..yap..yap.. Tejas failed..Arjun failed..Insas failed....YAWN. Imbecile, rant in front of gullible audience where someone can beleive your BS.

Yeah, so true, who is going to believe failure ?

I guess truth does hurt, its always better to burry one head in the

sand ? Times of India's fake "News" ;

NAGPUR: The indigenous 5.56x45mm Insas (Indian National Small Arms System) rifle has been the standard assault weapon for the Indian Army since the late 1990s. However, the jawans using it in counter-insurgency operations find it ineffective.

As part of the new Army doctrine, the gun is meant to incapacitate the enemy, rather than kill. Insas has a smaller calibre, which means it has less power. This is because — and it’s the official view — injuring an enemy can lead to enemy soldiers getting engaged in tending the wounded, thus yielding a tactical battlefield advantage.

The technocrats who interacted with soldiers in the forward areas were told that this theory does not work with terrorists who, apart from attacking in small numbers, are never bothered about evacuating their injured. Hence, the soldiers say, they want to shoot to kill, rather than maim.

The soldiers also spoke about practical difficulties in using Insas. It’s accurate but not as rugged as the AK-47 used by terrorists, they say. Also, its sling often snaps while firing, making it fall during manoeuvres. The sling also obstructs the rifle’s sight. But most of all, the size of the sling never took into account the bullet proof jacket worn by jawans. As a result, it falls short and is uncomfortable to hold. This hampers quick reaction.Insas also does not have a rapid fire feature; it shoots only three rounds in a single burst.

‘‘The barrel overheats with continuous firing. The magazine cracks even on falling, which is common during action. Oil spillage while firing is also major trouble,’’ said a source quoting soldiers. ‘‘Zeroing (adjusting the sight for aim) has to be done each time the rifle is opened to clean or for any other reason. Lack of proper zeroing hampers the working of night vision device,’’ said the same source.

The total additional weight — around 40 kg with bulletproof jacket and signalling equipment — that a soldier carries is also a matter of concern, as is the colour of the rifle: they want it in brown which offers better camouflaging. On the positive side, Insas’s transparent magazine helps soldiers keep a count of bullets.

Former director general of infantry, Lt General Shanker Prasad, said Insas is antiquated and the Infantry needs a modern rifle. The Army has repeatedly asked for new assault weapons, but nothing has moved. It’s learnt that forces are now expecting new indigenously developed AK-47 rifle said to be an improvement on the original.

Do you even know for how long Insas is with IA? Do you even know difference between COIN and warfare? Do you even know difference between 5.56 and 7.62 mm rounds?

Now open your EYES REAL WIDE AND READ AGAIN

Another question, does this mean an inherit fault in Insas or all assault weapons firing standard 5.56 mm NATO spec rounds?

].Insas also does not have a rapid fire feature; it shoots only three rounds in a single burst.

Asked by the ARMY specifically to fire 3 burst rounds to conserve ammo. You would have known that if your ability was more than copy and paste.

Will embarrass you more as soon as you answer above questions.

India Prepares for a Two-Front War

This isn't just a change in military doctrine—it's a reflection of America's declining power in Asia.

By DAN BLUMENTHAL

There is one country responding to China's military build-up and aggressiveness with some muscle of its own. No, it is not the United States, the superpower ostensibly responsible for maintaining peace and security in Asia. Rather, it is India, whose military is currently refining a "two-front war" doctrine to fend off Pakistan and China simultaneously.

Defending against Pakistan isn't anything new, and Delhi has long viewed China with suspicion. But in recent years India has been forced to think more seriously about an actual armed conflict with its northern neighbor. Last year Beijing started a rhetorical clash over the Dalai Lama's and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's visits to Arunachal Pradesh state, which China claims as its own. In the two years before that, Chinese border incursions into India almost doubled. Not to mention China's massive military buildup and concerted push for a blue-water navy.

In response, the Indian military is rewriting its so-called "Cold Start" doctrine. Cold Start's initial intent was to provide the armed forces with more rapid and flexible response options to Pakistani aggression. The Indian military believed that its ground forces' slow and lumbering mobilization after the 2001 terrorist attacks on its parliament played to Pakistan's advantage: International opinion turned against decisive Indian military action. Delhi also worried that its plan to send in heavy forces to weaken Pakistan was unrealistic and might well trigger a nuclear response.

So Indian strategists searched for military solutions that would avoid a nuclear response but still provide a rapid retaliatory punch into Pakistan.
The resulting doctrine was built around eight division-sized "integrated battle groups"—a combination of mobile ground forces backed by air power and tied together through an advanced system of sensors and reconnaissance capabilities. The Indian Army would advance into Pakistan and hold territory to use as leverage to end terrorist attacks launched from Pakistani soil.

But as China has grown more aggressive, Delhi has begun planning to fight a "two-front war" in case China and Pakistan ally against India. Army Chief of Staff General Deepak Kapoor recently outlined the strategy: Both "fronts"—the northeastern one with China and northwestern one with Pakistan—would receive equal attention. If attacked by Pakistan and China, India will use its new integrated battle groups to deal quick decisive blows against both simultaneously.

The two-front strategy's ambitions go even further: In the long term China is the real focus for Indian strategists. According to local newspapers, Gen. Kapoor told a defense seminar late last year that India's forces will "have to substantially enhance their strategic reach and out-of-area capabilities to protect India's geopolitical interests stretching from the [Persian] Gulf to Malacca Strait" and "to protect our island territories" and assist "the littoral states in the Indian Ocean Region."

Of course the existence of a new doctrine does not make it an operational reality. But a cursory glance at India's acquisition patterns and strategic moves gives every indication that India is well on its way to implementation. Delhi is buying and deploying sophisticated command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance networks; supersonic cruise missiles; lightweight towed artillery pieces; and new fighter aircraft with supporting electronic warfare and refueling platforms. India has already bought C-130J aircraft from the U.S. for rapid force deployment. The navy is planning to expand its submarine fleet, to acquire three aircraft carriers, and to deploy them with modernized carrier-based fighter aircraft. In addition India plans to deploy fighters and unmanned aerial vehicles at upgraded bases on the Andaman and Nicobar islands in the eastern Indian Ocean.

India is not looking for a fight with China: It simply understands it is prudent to develop a military that can deter Beijing. President Obama's accommodating stance toward China and his apparent lack of interest in cementing partnership with Delhi have focused Indian minds, as have his failure to invest in resources his Pacific commanders need.

While America has a strong interest in sharing the burdens of checking China's expansionism, it should be concerned when its friends react in part to a perception of American weakness and Chinese strength. Ultimately, the U.S. is the only country with the power and resources to reassure its allies they need not engage in costly arms races with China. But first the U.S. must identify Chinese military power for what Asian allies know it to be: a threat to peace in Asia.

dear mods,
i am aware i have broken a forum rule by confronting some members personally. but i just want you to consider that a personal attack is a way smaller offence than attacking a nation. hence i sincerely feel that my offence is smaller than these people.
i am not a asking you to ban these guys, but i just want you to give us the permission to reply to these guys, in decent words(like i did), because ignoring them does not seem to work. today i was pushed to resort to making personal remarks cause their remarks about my country were too much to take, for any citizen who loves their country.
this has been without a doubt the best forum i have been a part of, except for this issue. i really appreciate that, indians are given equal rights here, and are treated on par with the other members.

I don't think you belong here Khant. If you're so anti-china, maybe you should just piss off. None of us wants to hear your rants. If you could stop all this troll effort, there wouldn't be any in return and this forum would be peaceful once again. Also, using sarcasm to mock the mods isn't going to help justify your cause. In short, get lost.

That's "a little" bad.

The bottom line is that nukes are defensive weapons.

Paradoxically, I sleep better knowing India has nukes.

Yes, I understand every Indian and his grandmother and grandmother's favourite cow and favourite cow's daily urine output are ALL China-specific, until the day Bharata leapfrogs the USA and commands the galaxy ...

What else is new?

:coffee:

What is this? What level of debate you're stooping to by bringing in Cow urine?

We want to see good quality debates. Issues vs issues, political positions vs political positions.

Instead we get from some Indian and some Chinese debaters either racism or reminders of 3rd world status like "Children are starving, illiteracy rate, etc."

Present us, some quality, not your agendas or personal hatred of each other's countries. I got a news flash for you guys, nobody really reads your threads. It's like School Children fighting.

Ok genius, I got a bone to pick with you too.

What is the point of these sort of comments in this thread. You should negate their arguments by those that are mentioned in the articles posted. Literacy rate, has nothing to do with anything here and nobody cares about it.
