Worst stealth design among all 5th gen jets, it have only frontal aspect stealth, with least plan-form alignment properties, it have 2 piece canopy with metal bar between it which increases RCS, IRST also increase RCS, LAVCON deflection also somehow increases RCS and Biggest RCS points are air intakes, which place almost same place s on Su-27 series of jets which may also increases RCS, i think Su-57 is the modified version of Su-27 series of jets with only frontal aspect stealth only, its is LO design but not VLO design like F-22/J-20 but think Russia don't need VLO design because they have different doctrine/strategies and philosophies for their fighter jet development as compare to west and China, and they have backup of latest gen SAMs (S-400/S-500)

Just look at it. It's easy to see. Su-57 has small tails. So less RCS. F-35 canopy has metal too.

This not metal plate and its a explosives lining to break canopy during ejection process

Ok but how about engine of both jets su57 has so much exposed engine (metal) whereas F35 has minimal/treated engine to reduce RCS

This may not have the stealthiness of F22 or F35 - but does it really need it?

In the theaters it is supposed to fight and the adversaries it engages, it just needs to be better than those.

I am hoping that the price tag (apples to apples) of the Su-57 will hopefully be not as stratospheric as the American jets either. The Russian philosophy of building fighters is different than the American ones.

Numbers over technicality, quantity over quality.

This just needs to be as good as the Su-35 versions.

Pilots could do arm-curls hanging on the pitot tube/antenna/sensor. Try that in the F-16 or even the F35...

Russia has nukes. I don't think any country will be invading Russia anytime soon, not even Japan which claims Kuril islands. So Su-57 is used for bombing terrorists.
