Daddy Can I borrow $10?

Daddy Can I borrow $10?

Moral: Spend time with your kids!

what you think of this story?

Well, as a father of three I can relate to this story. The trouble is that when your children are young it is also the time that you are trying to establish yourself in your career. Advancement and positive results seem to always go to those who put in the most hours at the job. Which is better for them? You advance in your career so you have more money to buy them things and take care of their needs, like their education, OR, spend more time with them but your career does not go as well? Personally, I chose to advance in my career and I did not give them as much time as, perhaps, they wanted. OTOH, I was able to provide financially for them all to finish college and they each have good jobs now themselves. There is no easy answer to this question......

There's also much to say about quality time over quantity time.

My father's job took him away for months, and my mom also worked, but my parents have always been a source of guidance and I never felt like I'm growing up on my own, their influence has been a very strong component in my upbringing.

I've been sort of living alone since I was 17, which is very unusual in Pakistani families where you grow up and get married while living with your parents and when they retire they move in with you. But even now my parents give in some strong quality influences which I think counts more than the amount of time spent.

In my humble opinion, one needs to strike a balance between family and carreer.

It has become very hard to give time to kids in prevailing circumstances, however, whatever time we have before and after our job, it should be dedicated to our family.

Secondly, More or Little how much time one may be giving to his family should be optimally utilized, with full devotion and concern for one's family, it's always helpfull to express your concern for your loved ones.

Hi,

For some of us, who are in the retail sales business---life is not easy when it comes to spending time with the kids---california being a liberal state, business is open 7 days a week---so no weekend offs---time off during weekdays and not enough time to spend with the kids.

Kids need the time---otherwise parents will hear about it when they get older.

read this story before but when i read it was 400 dollars per hour i think or 300 may be and the boy asked 125 dollars not 10 dollars

The figures are changed and i think the rest of the story is same

Daddy Can I borrow $10? To buy an hour of your time?“

Nice work. On a serious note A much higher imagination for a 5 y.o. child.

But ain't a lie. It forces parents to see in the mirror of their actions that may affect the future of their children.

KIT Out
