I had this story framed on my office wall but removed it about a year ago. It has an extremely personal character to my family life. My father had 2 children, my older brother and I. When my brother was 18 he joined the airforce and before departing he complained to my businessman father that he could only recall spending 4 days of his entire 18 year old life with my father. My father replied that he worked to put us through school and that he was now in a position to spend time with us. My brother died some 14 months later in a drill which went wrong. My wife cannot have children and it is therefore unlikely that my father will have grandchildren. The old man (now 72) is now retired, a widower and very lonely. He is forever inviting my wife and I home "to catch up" but we unfortunately are very busy people. He should have invested some of his wealth in time spent with his family to create memories. I hope that fathers of young kids reading this and the thread will leave for home 15 minutes earlier just to hug their kids. God Bless
