Well I also think but I would prefer two rifle series being produced in Pakistan for two reasons one we have massive Armed Forces as well as Police secondly we can export them and earn lot of dollars

Your source is right SCAR has been selected and BREN although failed the endurance test but I think Pakistan and CZ company will together do some changes in BREN and it would be made according to our environment. As for @Path-Finder our great member was supporter of Beretta in x 51 category which sadly has failed tests. @CHACHA"G"

Main point which we all are missing is "Future (further) Development of Fire Arm (Gun) and New and better Versions , R&D"
My knowledge tells me , PA is asking this from all the campiness Participating in both (x39 and x51) categories.
There was (is) no CZ in one category , and Yes the issue with there Gun is almost resolved and Further development will also help. Because they are ready for grantee (future R&D etc)
In short CZ really want to sell us and we also want to buy , but we have other options too. Let me mention MOU and LOU with CZ , they only mean + and ++ that's it . And POF upgrading is totally different program .
Now as for Sac-H , Yes the Gun out performed all other ( but that does not mean other failed) in relative category . They are ready for TOT , every thing is almost ok Expect for bold part............

In the end let us all wait and see , We may have both , or we may go for new tender , because negotiations are on last stages ( CZ is almost final ).

I was SCAR fan because I believed that SCAR is best Gun in accuracy and range and firepower and guess what after Pakistan trials it was proved that I was right. The only real challenger for SCAR in the market is HK-417 and that didn't came due to Germany's policy. I was the first one to raise question on Beretta accuracy but as you and others supported it so much so I thought may be I am wrong, but turns out I was right.

I never thought AK-103 would fail endurance test in fact the test which I thought that any AK would survive and was endurance test and will be okay in accuracy test but to my surprise in fact I would say shocked that AK-103 failed endurance test. BREN I always had doubts that would pass endurance test but initial reports suggested it passed the trials but turns out it didn't. But as design is new and improvements can be made so I think Pakistan will continue with BREN in x 39 category also because we have Police to equip, with POF making some changes to suit our environment. SCAR is not my finance or my wife. It's best weapon in the market and I want my soldiers to be equipped with best just like I want best bullet proof and best helmets for our soldiers. Also latest optics.

Both SCAR and BREN are ready to give full TOT but also permission to export so developing new versions on our own won't be a issue and neither they would disallow it. The biggest thing is a company allowing another country to not only make but also export them so other things already don't matter that much. ALso from FN we will get Machine Gun and Sniper Guns can't say about handguns

SCAR is going to replace all G3 not just special forces in fact biggest special forces I mean SSG are hardly interested in getting this weapon soon. SCAR is bound to replace all G3 and G3 are not used by SSG or SSGN or SSW. G3 is used by infantry in fact not even LCB uses G3.

Hazrat, "WHY" are the SSG not interested in this weapon if it passed all tests with flying colours, btw are you referring to SCAR H or SCAR L which according to some has issues with accuracy...no different than the Berreta,,,,,, and you stated Spec-ops have ordered SCAR ,,,is it H or piss poor accuracy L! a clarification would be much appreciated.
