Hollywood movies are watched in India and the West has lot of influence on Indians. But India is able to develop its own Bollywood, etc. Similarly, Bangladesh has to start and develop local film industry. Have an open mind. BTW i like Bangladesh. Its a progressive nation with a future.

Because of strong, universal and consistent local and some foreign viewership - Bollywood has been able to develop technical film-making. However majority of Bollywood movies are pretty much copies of Hollywood movies, except a nominal percentage of 'A' grade movies in Bollywood.

There is a grave dearth of 'reality-based' scripts and stories in Bollywood movies and they have generally stuck to making 'formula' movies which Indian moviegoers like. Five dance scenes, two fight scenes and enough three way twists to make your stomach churn. Nowadays the formula has changed (Western Party theme) but production values and story-lines are largely superficial trash and border on 'unwatchable'.

Bangladesh movie industry is of course no competitor to Bollywood because no one in Bangladesh above middle class level watches Bangladeshi movies.These are pretty crass too. There are some exceptions.

Bangladeshi TV dramas have better-developed scripts and themes (better than Indian Saas-bahu crap) however they still have a long way to go technically.

Pakistani TV dramas are better both script-wise and technically than both Bangladeshi or Indian TV dramas. This is a carryover from earlier times when PTV used to attract Pakistan's best talent such as scriptwriters and directors.

Indian TV dramas follow the South American and Mexican 'Telenovela' format with over-acting and outlandish story-lines.

Adoption of HD and 4K equipment and content is slow in local Bangladeshi dramas but all in good time I guess...

We have army, navy, and air force bases all around Bangladesh, it will be matter of hours, not even days, to send BD to stone age from the bronze age Bangladesh is currently in!

Besides, we don't even need an army to do the job, our dams are more than enough.

In short, our army has created a new country and reduced another by half, how many armies in the world have accomplished that?

Yes you have your Army but you are not there. Yes you had your army by the British. But in that Army you were not there but Pathan, Punjabi, Rajputs etc. Now under India it didnt change much. I rarely agree with BongBang but he is right. What is the percentage of Indian Bengalis in Indian Army? See you have no right to boast your army when your own people are not in it. You guys are black sheep of India. The Punjabis who are a mere 2-5 percent of India and look at them? What went wrong with you flops?
