Country's largest naval base underconstruction in Patuakhali with Sub berthing and Aviation facility

In five years, we'll see 10th Generation HAL Tejas flying over Mars! :enjoy:

Who says Indians are not flying 10th generation Tajas now !!

This plane took 30 years to build just for the fact that it is special, this my friend is one of a kind, there is nothing like it out there.

So show some R-E-S-P-E-C-T. !!!!!!!! :enjoy:

By 2020, there will be 4 subs, two Ming class and two Yuan/Kilo class, but not sure if they would be enough as we also need to see how India and Myanmar progresses as well as the advancement of sonar technologies.

As for a blockade, we need to be prepared for it as there is huge possibility for future disputes, for example, there is a certain "gray area" along the Bangladesh-India maritime boundary where the hydro-carbons resources are awarded to Bangladesh while the fisheries have been awarded to India, there could be future hostility centering around this issue. Also, consider other issues like India's diversion of the waters of transnational rivers could prompt us to halt the transit and bilateral trade which will have huge impact on the North East States, this could make India to impose a naval blockade.
perhaps you should update your knowledge on this subject. India has already accepted the decision and abandoned the plan to develop the nearby oilfields. as it rightfully belongs to Bangladesh. India will not initiate any action against this fact. Regarding the fisheries rights in same way Bangladesh has accepted the decision in same way. What you are suggesting is that Bangladesh will initiate lethal action against Indian fishermen. I don't see any possibility that Bangladesh will act in opposite and break its own promise\agreement. And regarding halting the transit for Indian goods, I just find it laughable. You are not enforcing any blockade there so why will we put naval blockade. Your country, your rules. You provide transit facilities, you get direct and indirect money. you don't provide transit, we look for more alternatives. Regarding transnational rivers, we don't have intention of diverting waters at all. River water is not owned by us nor you. Our people need water as your people need it. we implement canals for agriculture only. and what you hear about diverting water is not actually as you think. Its based on scientific data, where we propose transfer excess water in rainy season to areas where water is not at high level. Basically its about controlling flood and providing water to all in rainy season while maintaining the optimum level of water discharge in the river itself. And its a very long time spanned project. Even Bangladesh can also implement the same program. As bangladesh has plain land in majority, cost will be pretty less in your country and your country can also regulate flood and cyclone waters in more effective way. Thank you.

sure, this is why i am saying we can not say anything, surely India will win but what cost ?

that is not correct, actually we did not spend
Cost is not a factor in a war whether its Uk US China or anyother country. End result is what matters most to us. No either by or by cook. But I am not in favor of threat or anything similer as it is only a distraction at most like what is happenning on our western border. We don't have time to devote our time on these things. Thank you.

From one forumer to another, you should hide too when you see one of those things flying overhead.

Why should I take your words? Being a BDeshi your experience is close to nil when it comes to defence equipment. :haha:

I think the real reason is that anything more than one liners is beyond the intellectual capacity of BD members:oops:

The gap is widening, but you either need to move at Chinese speeds or have American navy to truly be able to defeat Anti access. It's not just equipment quality, though it's a huge part, it's the massive numbers needed.
What's the purpose of a blockade when our Kolkata class destroyer can single handedly take on the bd navy bar type 056 corvette......And capture the port to deny whatever access......

But India considers Bangladesh as a friendly country so that won't be required.........

The problem is with these guys with anti India rhetoric and their wet dreams....
