The gap is widening, but you either need to move at Chinese speeds or have American navy to truly be able to defeat Anti access. It's not just equipment quality, though it's a huge part, it's the massive numbers needed.

India has no reason whatsoever to impose blockade on a friendly country. Anti access is not useful in current scenario in my opinion. It limits the country military resources in a tighter area of operations and if one of asset goes down then security net is breached in anti access. Bangladesh should modernise its defence forces to support its economic activities in territorial waters and high seas. Going to consider one of neighboring countries as a threat is a not good for public and government direction of growth. We all know what happened to Pakistan navy in 1971 war, they had employed anti access strategy there. Thank you.
