Converting Old warplanes into armed or reconnaissance drones

Nah, we need to look at what any potential adversary has and build/buy to counter that threat. Nobbling old planes is not a good idea no matter how cheap and tempting it is. We need to send the old planes to the aircraft museum and build to our own requirements the most advance drones possible. Hyper speed ,hyper height and outer space. When the mind has a focus anything is possible.
Converting a old jets into a dumb target drones or kamikaze cruise missiles is relatively easy. Israel has done in wars, used old converted jets to force Arabs to reveal SAM locations, or redirect fighters and expend missiles. So the idea has merit.
Another factor in PAF favor is while for most other airforces the maintenance is done by subcontractors making fielding old jets unfeasible as labor cost alone stacks up huge bills, PAF owns Kamra and the staff is in its own payroll so can maintain them indefinitely till parts available.
For UCAV role we can invest in new platforms as you said.

.
There were rumors that Azerbaijan used its world war era planes to collect data across the border including finding defence systems, radars and Armoured movement.
Is it possible to convert old planes into drones and pilotless jets?
Can Pakistan convert its F7s and F7PGs into drones with Turkish or Chinese help?
Will it will be fruitfull to do that or it will just be waste of resources?

Abhi yahan p log comment kren ge.
Aaahh paise nai hain. Aaahhh zaroorat nai hai. Ooohhh economies of scale nai hai. Ahhh resources nai hai.

Jab gora ye sab kuch kar guzre ga. Phir ye pohanch jaye ge gora sardar k pas bheek mangne k liye.

Then everything will be feasible. All requirement will be there. And when it comes to giving billions to gora. We will empty all our coffers for shiny toy of gora(which we could've made a lot cheaper at home, to our liking, without any gora sanctioning/hassling us, sold it to the world and made money).
